Let's assume you're first in line for a public transit bus. Where would you go sit? The seats at the very back? the seats closest to the driver? Maybe you like the seats closest to the rear doors? If you're riding a double decker, would you take a seat on the upper level?

Personally, I've always been one to go to the very back. I usually avoid window seats cus the bright sun hurts my eyes Only been on a double decker a few times, but i usually go up top.

What about you peeps?

but! when i was in edinburgh, and arbroath this past week i ran right up to the upper level! these were the first two times i have ever been on a double decker bus.
other than this, i go to the seats without passengers.

Long as I've got a window seat and am somewhere on the back half of it, without being on the very back row. All the impatient people can get on the front.

In junior high it was the front; in high school it was the back. But on a public transit bus it's always towards the middle.

If it's a double decker I'd get on the top section if it was overcast, or stay in the bottom section if it was sunny.

As far back as I can be arsed to get, usually down below on a double decker. Less people brushing past me that way (I'm a large man and I prefer to sit adjacent to the centre aisle. Probably not the best combination.)

Usually I go on the seat directly behind the driver as it guarantees I don't have to sit next to anyone. The very back is fairly chavvy, usually, but if I'm in a large group, the back makes more sense as there is more space.

On a double decker I nearly always go to the top back.

I really like having the window seat on the bus. I like looking out the window, while listening to my music. Back in middle school, I would sit near the front. In high school, it was always either the middle or back seats. Now, my only preference is a window seat. It doesn't matter if it is front, or back.

On a single decker, it's always the second from last seat at the back. Same but upstairs on a double decker, but i also like the seat behind the stairs on a double decker too.
