Nostalgia - Remember when people made sigs?

Oh hai.

I've been on a bit of a nostalgia trip today trying to track down any sigs that I made that as still hanging around somewhere on the internet.

I've found about a dozen and it's given me the itch to break out Photoshop and see what I can do nowadays.

I know the whole sig thing has died in the last 5 years but I was wondering if anyone is left about who fancies having a go at making some new material?

We could share, compare and if the moment is right just let nature take its course.... it'll be beautiful.

i am incredibly inexperienced with creating images. but! i wouldnt mind getting some practice

i think this would be an appropriate place for anyone to request a signature

I remember making sigs for RV. I was inspired by the signature stalls of the old RV sig makers, back when we still had a dedicated forum. I always knew I could never compare, but I enjoyed making sigs nevertheless. As we lost activity the sig scene died. I love making signatures, and I know some of the active RVers still have sigs I made. I would certainly like to try again.

Well I've set up a Windows VM on my PC and installed Photoshop.

I kinda lost my way with this one, not too happy with it but a start nonetheless!

It was just a render I thought had decent shapes... I'm so rusty with all of this I'm butchering everything...

You've always had talent when it comes to sigs Faz.. You made me one in 2006 and it was only today I removed it..

I remember lumping my sprites together in different positions to make signatures. Then I started focusing on having friends as sprites themselves.

Can we get a dump of Steely's works in here? Those were awesome. :3

I realize this thread is completely dead, but I thought I'd post anyways.

I still remember the day when Sig stalls flourished, before Jagex disallowed the selling of sigs for RSGP.

I haven't posted here in a long while, but here's some recent(ish) sigs that i've done for other forums.

upon google'ing, it seems it is.
I did it as part of a SOTW where the render was chosen for us.

It's a shame signature art has ceased to exist here, but so has just about everything else it seems.

i have never used photoshop. but from what i have heard, gimp is close enough. and its free.
