Decided to trade my PS3 version... and get the PC version. My god the difference is ridiculous. 60FPS everywhere as opposed to 20-30fps sometimes. :D

I kind of like the mounted combat in Skyrim, though it is a little hard at first. I think it is a good add to the game!

It reminds me a lot of the mounted combat in Mount&Blade. I don't think it was ever designed to be easy to hit people while moving.

Grats. I'm almost at that much playtime and I'm nowhere near Plat.

You heard correctly, comes out on the 26th of June for Xbox, because they have the stupid distribution rights like CoD.

How'd you manage that? Don't you need all the shouts for platinum? I did. :?:

PS3 fails again. :grr:

I'd play with the latest patch if it were out for PS3, lololol

You need to "Learn 20 shouts", which means have at least 1 word from all 20. I had an average of 2 from both.

Ohhhhhhh.

I could have sworn there was a trophy for collecting all the words of power, but I might have done that just for funsies. Or I misunderstood the trophy and didn't take the lazy way out.

Though I'm nearly positive that I had at least one word in every shout and that one didn't pop. Maybe it was part of the patch.

Sweet, I go home for the weekend before and plan on taking my xbox to uni then! If only I had a working controller, rather than one in which the Left Bumper acts like it is permanently held down :(

Problem:

I'm trying to complete the quest that you have to sacrifice your companion. I lost mine many, many, many saves ago. I've tried resting, sleeping, waiting, searching, etc. I think it was one of the people from The Companions but they aren't at their place.

Any ideas? Am I screwed?

Save game
Reload the save from many many many saves ago
Find out who your companion is
reload the save you made at the start of the list
then use console command to move said companion to you Eg. player.placeatme <base_id>, the base ID in this case is just the base ID of the follower.

Followers and ids can be found here = http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Follower_(Skyrim)#Followers
Companions and ids can be found here = http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Companions#Members
just click on the one that was following you

If it's the daedric quest you're talking about, you can sacrifice any companion with enough affinity. Hell, even the dude who's there will join you and you can sacrifice him. (The one where there's a cauldron and you have to make a sacrifice to meet the Daedra Lord. I believe the shrine's on a mountain).

If it's the other one where you NEED to sacrifice that one dude (the monk?) in the basement of the house, the one where he tries to cleanse the shrine, I think you're screwed. The one where you either get the mace of molag bal or some nonsense item.

- House of Horrros.

It was the first Daedric quest i ever did and it was the only scary part in that game.

I fully agree with Lander (Boethiah's Proving vs. House of Horrors).

Boethiah's Proving was so awesome. I finally had a use for Lydia. *evil laugh*
