when i voted for him this morning, it was for 2 reasons. one being that i dont trust him. and the other being that if i dont contribute to this, then it looks like no one will be lynched today.

but if jump on this train and he is a villager, im boned.

Totally missed your post yesterday, forgive me for that. I still don't feel like a minor shift in playstyle is that big of a deal considering this is only the second game we've had here in quite some time.

And Riptide it's not for just acting like your normal self, its for blatantly lieing in a post that could have led to us lynching a townsperson off of mostly joke votes.

As it occurs to me, you're voting me for several minuscule reasons: you say that my posting isn't as consistent as before, that my commitment isn't as high, that my wording is mafia-esque, that me withholding my vote is scummy...

Am I missing anything here? I've contributed as much as anyone else here. The bulk of the town is torn between killing riptide and killing market man. I can't say I'm sure about either of these targets. Riptide blatantly lied, and market man called kikori out for a completely bogus reason.

What really worries me is that you're grasping at straws. You're also grossly over-using the metagame. What have you contributed? You're not generating any information. Nobody cares about what you're saying, because it doesn't make any goddamn sense. As I said, you found an incident of my withholding my vote in an instance that I was scum. I can, conversely, find a WHOLE LOT MORE examples of me doing that as a townie. You say that my posting pattern is off by one post when I'm scum. Where in the world are you getting your figures? When I'm mafia, I tend to be MORE active out of paranoia. You ought to know that. Admit that you're going off a gut feeling on me. Which should only be taken so far.

As far as my commitment goes, perhaps you're right. It isn't as high. Look at what happened last game. Maybe I ought to have taken a break. You also know full well that I'm much more of a threat later on in the game, when voting patterns and accumulation of posts can be analyzed. I don't do as well in smaller, variant-like games.

I've already refuted your points. Another strike against Market Man is that if he were paying attention, he'd know I'd already said everything (IMHO) that I needed to say. But hey. If this fiasco gets others posting, I'm all for it. What burns me, MOST about Monk, is that he's unwilling to move on from me. No one seems to be interested in lynching me. This is usually the time to move along and place a vote for someone else, someone like Ex Rex who hasn't contributed anything whatsoever besides some kind of half assed vote for Market Man. Or Noob for minin for that matter. Or riptide.

Mafia will forever be a game of leaders and followers, but that doesn't absolve the followers of all their responsibility.
