FINAL HOUR: A Prologue [User command game!]

[WARNING: There's a lot of cursing in Final Hour and your censor will not save you due to the use of text bubbles. If that's not your bag, don't read ahead. You have been warned.]

To anyone who has read The Adventures of Jimmy, this is going to work pretty much the same as that. To those of you who haven't read it, WHY HAVE YOU NOT READ IT??? One difference is that I might end up being selective and possibly intrusive to the point of submitting commands myself, mainly because there's a broad story here and I don't want this getting too convoluted to where it damages that story. That's not to say I won't accept some silly commands for funsies.

I'mma move this to Digital-Complex when I get ComicPress set up the way I want it (but probably not before I finish this part here on RV). Whether or not the user-command aspect will carry on past this prologue, I have not yet decided. I'm pretty much using this as a test run???

Final Hour

A rather suave-looking man traverses a treacherous catacomb.

Within these tunnels lurks innumerable foes such as the one he has just slain. This bares no shock nor concern of course; This man has already had a highly enduring adventure, defeating countless FIENDS along the way. In terms of EXPERIENCE, he has ample. Fodder like this are hardly a threat and a measly +50xp is barely a tick on the meter!

And yet, even with his high levels of SKILL and SWAGGER, this man has been worn down. It has been a taxing journey indeed, but one that he must undertake. The stakes are high, as is usually the case, and existence itself finds threat lurking in the uncertainty of the future.

You wonder what the name of such a debonair guy could be?

Wow. How neat is THAT?

It looks like there's five spaces for a FIRST NAME, as well as five spaces for a LAST NAME.

You try to enter the name RAY BAN, but it ends up looking like RAYBA N. Just for the hell of it you press OK!, but to no avail. It looks like the name HAS to be 10 characters, and there's no space bar on this keypad.

After a bit of brainstorming, you think you're pretty set on the name SMITH FORTE. You type that in and it works just fine.

You would take the time to REFLECT a bit more, but time is one thing you don't have. As if the IMPENDING DOOM OF YOUR REALITY wasn't enough, the core of these caverns is SET TO EXPLODE in about ONE HOUR. And, just your luck, the core is exactly where you're heading.

What will you do?

Just a note, if I make a post after a suggested command and my post isn't about that command, that doesn't mean I'm not gonna do it. I'm just posting the panels as I finish them.

You open your RESOURCE HUB and press the STATS button.

It doesn't really tell you much more than your MINI STAT DISPLAY, but you guess it gives you a better idea of where your METERS are at???

Your BLUE METER is still at a safe level. You haven't had to expend much CREATIVITY against these low-tier FIENDS. Like that one you just killed? All you really did was bash it in the head a couple times.

Your GREEN METER, on the other hand, is a bit too low for comfort. You're feeling pretty exhausted after wandering through this labyrinth. Plus it takes a lot of effort to brutally murder hoards of fodder, weak as they may be. You would take some time to REST, but you're far too aware of the time issue already. Maybe there's something in your BLOCKS that could boost your CONSTITUTION?

And this RED METER, well... You're... You're just gonna ignore that for now.
Ignoring things is definitely the way any well-adjusted adult handles their problems.
