Clearly these people are ruining the eagleland. Or something, I don't know; I didn't bother watching the video because my nationality and will to live preclude me caring about this subject. Anyway, clearly they're considered a threat, otherwise there wouldn't be all of these forum threads about it. Shall there be a civil war? I want to know ahead of time so I can get a good seat.

Actually each thread has made me care less and less, which is impressive considering I never cared in the slightest.

Sort of like someone who hates Justin Bieber. You only update yourself about him to hate him further.

Are you speaking from personal experience?

I'm gonna be honest here, not usually giving a crap about politics, but what is OWS all about? I don't even keep up.

The second guy had at least one point right, not everyone is greedy. There was confusion about its definition during that, from what I heard.
Heard a guy with a thin goatee mention a few businesses going out to pay for ~$0.50 per hour elsewhere instead of workers $8.00 here, true enough problem.
Kudos to curly-head for trying to keep "violence" regulated, even if it's a tap of paper on the head. Idiot otherwise.
Kudos to the black guy in the red hoodie, sounded like he wanted some advice on actually getting the business started.
The guy at 30-minutes in made me laugh out loud. The guy at 39:00 made me laugh harder.
Kudos to the black guy in the pink jacket for further regulating safety, from how it sounded.
Guy at 44:00 actually sounded intelligent.
Guy near 53:00 in plaid and the green-billed cap was shockingly rational. Glad he much later asked for clarification on Unions, too.
Laughed at the moron who assumed Chase Bank is a monopoly... when there are maybe four or five big banks. (When there are only a literal 'few' dealers of a product, it's Oligopoly.)

Made it all the way through, Snake. Where's my cookie?

From what I gather by the behavior of the people in the video, there are two protests happening together. A protest in Washington D.C. and in Wall Street to try to protest the process of big businesses (mostly located in Wall Street) funding bad politicians, and in turn getting favors, power, etc. for their money. They are occupying Wall Street in some hope that their protest will take away from the 'corrupted' businesses mentioned.
Or something like that.

Many of the people out there are lazy, entitled, socialist halfwits that want things handed to them. As for most of the ones with half a brain or more, they won't get anything done due to flawed reasoning that their Mickey Mouse college Liberal Arts degrees didn't beat out of them through an actual education.

The government is a tool being used by corporations to manipulate policy to both benefit their own interests and to make it harder for other businesses (especially up-and-coming competition). The only real solution is to take the power away from the government so that the power can't be abused by lobbyists, NOT to give the government more power and trust that they use it to limit the same corporations that you're complaining how too much influence.
