Also, you remember how I said I got a computer for my birthday? Well, I haven't gotten it yet. It's a combined Christmas and Birthmas present, and I'm going down to Tennessee on the 28th to get it from my Uncle Brad. I can't play Sonic, Trine, or Skyrim yet because my laptop can't handle it.

Three boxes of tools, two bottles of wine, a bottle of whiskey, a bottle of rum, a (very) full stomach, and a hip flask with my initials engraved on it. Aside from the flask, it seems nobody got very creative this year.

At any rate, most of what I get out of this time of year is food, and as usual I was delighted. My mother's roast goose was better than last year's, and the pate is to die for. Aside from the alcohol, I have an assortment of chocolates, olives, and cheeses to eventually get through, including a surprisingly large wheel of brie imported straight from Normandy.
