at first i thougfht it was firefox but i ran explorer and it happens with it too. OK so facebook causes my computer to lag the webpage out completely and youtube its impossible for me to watch videos. it goes at like 1 frame every 18 seconds im pretty much watching a slide show =/ i ran virus scans and cleared caches and everything idk what the issue is

Have you tried bashing the unit with your keyboard? That tends to help me.

Have you made any changes to your computer lately in terms of settings? Do CTRL ALT DEL and let us know what your CPU and MEMORY usage is at once you've opened either of these programs.

cpu fluctuates from 0-37 and 62 % memory

i would make sure all your drivers are up to date (mainly your GPU, then i would go and update adobe, divx and java and all those little things.

then i would check everything is working while your on device manager

if your still having problems i would download a program called CPU-Z, and check that everything is running at the right speed and has the right amount of power going to it.

also it would help to know ur PC specs,

No. i uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla and updated my software. computers fine....for now
