Hi all, I recently got some fish and the guy who put them in the bag accidentally put a small snail in their as well. My only problem is I have no clue what kind it is and was hoping someone here could help me identify it.

I'm not sure if it matters, but it laid eggs in the form of a sac of clearish goo filled with small eggs that looked like bubbles.

People actually have pet snails? Wow thought that kind of thing only happens in Spongebob, but once again we're also talking about pet fish, out of all menial, boring pets.

I didn't intentionally get one, it jut kinda came with the fish lol.

Thanks for the link though, with that and some info a fellow of Reddit gave me it appears I have simple pond snail that reproduces asexually and if I let it's eggs hatch it can eventually lead to problems for my fishies :P

Burks would probably be the best person to ask about this. Aquariums, etc.

I PMed him as well about something else, since I am getting a bigger aquarium for my fish I may let the snail stay in this one or I may give it to someone else or something. Not sure if it makes sense for me to keep it.
