hola.

So I thought for sure that I had posted here when I left, BUT!

I've been offline for about two weeks cause I've been moving to Japan, and am finally getting to settle down here. Just figured I'd pop my head in here, say hi and throw a couple of pictures at you guys :awesome:

Yakiniku. Probably one of the best inventions ever. You order what meat, vegetables etc that you want, then cook it yourself. Makes for both a fun experience, and food exactly to your liking. :3

Just a random picture off TV over here. That is from a "Let's learn English!" 5 minute short. It's an American. The sentence they were teaching this time? "I can't hear you." YEAH THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE, JAPAN. [Insert stuff about fat foreigners here]

Like the best ramen I have ever tasted. You can see everything in the process, from the guy making the noodles to them spreading the peppers over it. :33

Food from said ramen place. The bread-ish thing is Gyoza. It's not actually bread, but I guess it looks a bit like it. After eating that, you feel like you're in heaven :laugh:



Anyway, yeah, that's pretty much it. I'll probably pop my head in here more often now. :V

Nah, I don't have time for that, unfortunately. I'm lucky if I can squeeze in an odd game of League of Legends :c And they're meant to tempt you. THEIR FOOD IS AWESOMEEEE! c:

I don't think you can be in Japan without having fun ^^;

But yeah, so far this has been amazing. For some reason, everything Japanese I've tried so far has been awesome. (Proper ramen, proper karaoke etc) o_o;

..That's not a very nice thing to write, is it?

Anyway, moving to Japan seems like a very exciting thing indeed, I'm trying to remember where you're from originally (Iceland?)

Do you speak/read/understand any Japanese at all? How good are Japanese with their English?

Yes, Iceland.

I can speak Japanese relatively well, but am horrible at reading/writing. Most Japanese people's English is so bad, though. :v

i would have guessed you moved cause you were a cook/chef/sous chef ect. based on a reoccurring theme in your photos.

Probably not, it's just an optional course I picked. I would like to visit someday, but only as a vacation kind of thing.
