There was some good and bad at the Tampa game, but the Lions dominated most of the game, especially in terms of possession and ball control. The Chiefs looked pathetic against the Bills last weekend, so I doubt the Lions will have any trouble this Sunday. We need to get a bit more of a ground game going, and get those inexcusable penalties under control (I mean you, Gosder Cherilus). Other than that, we have a good looking team. Stafford looked pro, and the o-line actually did their damn job for once. We had some great plays on defense, the d-line looked incredible and there were some good stops in the passing game.

I'm stoked for this year.



How do you mean? We won. Unless you're referring how the bears and packers both won and looked very strong as well. If so, see the first sentence of this post.

I can't remember who they were playing, but the opposing team was just about to run their hurry-up offense and two Giants basically faked injuries to get injury stoppage so they could conduct themselves.

Rams are playing the Giants (hence why I was really pissed off). We've gone about 60 to 70 yards in about 2 minutes using the no-huddle offense. The Giants decide they're a bunch of pussies and can't handle it, and decide to fall to the ground and fake injuries, causing the play clock to stop and the "injured" player to be tended to.

The NFL has now stated that any team whose players do this, will not receive a petty fine. They will face suspensions and loss of draft picks. Source.
