Welcome to the Paint Wars 7!
Over two years ago a battle raged in the middle of the ocean on a small island. The combatants, although powerful, have not been heard from since. Today we come upon a new battle, with heroes and villains alike whose power can tear worlds asunder.
Oh, and I TOTALLY didn’t copy Goten's Toa's rules. "THE RULES" •Characters must be simple! You can have high quality comics if you wish to put the effort into them - Such as adding shading and the like. At the same time, nothing says you have to make high quality comics; just make sure we can tell who's who, and what's going on.
•Each comic must be at least four panels in length!
•NO KILLING OFF CHARACTERS UNTIL POST 50! Set up events, traps, inflict injuries, and kill fodder characters until then - But NO KILLING OFF OTHER PARTICIPANTS UNTIL POST 50!
•Events within comics must be distinguishable! Simply put, if you just do a bunch of squiggles and nobody can tell what happened in your comic… We're going to ignore it. At the same time, you can't explain what's going on with text. We have to be able to tell what happened from the images!
•NO GOD MODDING! You're not invincible, nor are you all-powerful. If you make your character unfair, I'll destroy you. You don't want to test me in a game of god modding, because you will not survive. So basically, your comics have to include your character getting knocked around a bit as well.
•No comics comprised of nothing more than copy/pasting. Paint Warz has been, and will continue to be, a game where you draw the events. Copy/pasting everything makes for crude looking comics and takes away from the all around fun and atmosphere. It's okay if you're not the best artist, but at least give drawing the characters a shot. A little copy/pasting is okay, as long as it's not to use the same frames for the entire comic.
•I am going to ask everyone to try and post a comic once every three days at least. If for some reason you are unable to do this let me know and it will be fine. If you don't post for three or more days I will send you a nice PM to remind you we exist.
Should be everything; tell me if anything needs to be added.
"THE GAME!" •How to play: OK for those of you who don’t know, basically to play paint warz you will need to first post a drawing of your character so I can put you on the participants list, then once things get started, start drawing up some awesome comics. It doesn’t matter if you can’t draw like Goten or Andrey, just try your best! Oh, and FOLLOW THE RULES.
•Setting: Without further ado, The Valley of Doom!

Guess I should write a proper character description huh.
Name: Unknown
Age: Unknown (Presumed to be between 16 - 18, but no records are available)
Class:Reaper - Mortal beings born into this world without souls, who have tapped into their latent abilities of the Grimdark. Can materialize their Scythe at will, which can harness the Grimdark for devastating physical attacks. More experienced Reapers may have access to the Gates of Hell, allowing inter-dimensional travel. Those of the highest class may also have the ability of Despair, causing mental stress and a sense of hopelessness to their target.
All level of Reapers have the ability of Soul Harvest, in which they can claim the soul of whoever they kill. These souls are reflected by the Soul Chain of the Scythe - One link for each soul in the Reaper's possession. Reapers may utilize the abilities of these souls, but are limited to the most basic aspect of said abilities. It is believed that a Reaper cannot make use of a soul's ability if they are not in direct contact with their Scythe, but there is no confirmed documentation of this.
Danger Level: Unknown. Approach at own risk.

Name: Kotomi.
Weapons: Look at the picture.
Age: 16-17ish.
Bio: Kotomi comes from the Year 3744, an age where the human race is somehow still suffering the aftereffects of the great wars of painting. She is hoping to change things by returning to the past to participate in the 7th war. -Insert cheesy, cliche of life story, blah blah blah-
There, I'm ready. Feel free to use some cheesy stick figure if you can't recreate it in scenes, or just happen to be too lazy to bother.

Kikori wrote:
Name: Caecus
Abilities: A blind-fighter, Caecus can "see" by a form of Psionic power what's within five feet of him, and must rely on a mixture of hearing and vibration sensing otherwise. The Psionic power he uses to perceive his immediate surroundings only becomes an offensive power if he focuses on his weapon.
Weapon: Runite hook, held on a Steel chain. The hook's ring for the chain is big enough to accommodate two fingers, and with the curve above the blade having a groove for the thumb, the hook becomes an effective short blade when needed.

Name: C.S.F. (Cassius Stanley Franklin A.K.A.....Chocolate Sexy 'Fro)
Description: SHAZAM!!! WATCH OUT, Groove-muffins!!!! DON'T touch the HAIR!!!!!
Weapon: -concealed-
Scar
Hidden:
Name: Damien
Bio: An ancient Evil trapped in a human body, the tremendous power that is contained inside him has warped and altered his appearance over the course of thousands of years. He walks the Earth in search of a worthy opponent, some say he is truely seeking his own death.
Powers/Weapons: Has full control of fire from any source and has the ability to summon flames and bend them to his will. The fire is a deep red color, and in addition to forming into any number of bladed weapons it allows him to fly around the map instead of walking like normal people.
Fire can also be used as a projectile weapon in the form of a large wave and smaller fireballs.
When Damien is near death his human body will perish and the power that sealed him inside of it will fade allowing him to reveal his true form. The only real difference between the two forms is the true form is physically stronger(bigger muscles), and looks different. Other than that the powers are all the same. Once in this form he remains that way until he is killed.

Ill post an intro comic tomorrow, I'm on a mac now so I have to relearn this comic stuff. Good thing I shelled out for Pixelmator. Oh, and ill be starting in the dark forest.
As of now we have a limit of ten participants, if the demand arises we can probably add a few more. I have been swamped with work the last couple of days, so my character will come soon. Everyone else feel free to make a character and post an intro comic. I will update the map with locations tomorrow, and remember there is no fighting of one another until Post 50.
In case you were wondering, yes I have plans for those odd areas scattered around the map, but only time will tell what those are.

There's only one problem, I have my settings at 50 posts per page, so does that mean I wait 300 posts?

Why not just make it something even like 100 posts? 100 because it's original and people want to get to the killing fast, hehe.
I WOULD [re]join, but I tried to make a character in paint and realized I SUCK. No like...it's not "oh if we can at least know what it vaguely resembles and you have decent artistic skills it's ok" it's like "I'm trying to draw a cool-looking stick figure with some cutting-edge wepons and hazardous explosives in awesome-looking pose but instead it looks like Morgan Freeman went on Jenny Craig and is holding a green pumpkin with an assault rifle while doing backflips off of a tightrope 4 feet above a boiling pit of orange juice".

Name: Kotomi. Age: Trivial. Power: She can use her psychic powers to harness the celestial energy. This mainly applies to the 12 astrological zodiac signs, allowing her weapons to take form of any two signs at one time. While this sounds overpowered, she can only make real use of them depending on star position. In fact, based on real time, she can only make real use of Virgo and Libra at best, with Leo and Scorpio at only less than half their power (in other words, the weakness is poor timing on the stars' behalf). Also, she comes from the Year 3744, where one of the paint wars had an effect on the city in some way. What causes that caused the effect, and what war specifically, isn't really known.
Couldn’t extend space to fit my overly-decorative attack. Nothing wrong with going overkill on cannon fodder for fun, right?

First post is updated:
Fixed Formatting Issues Added My Character Updated Location Map Added Defeat to the list Changed the limit on when we can fight each other to 50 posts, let me know if you think we should change this.
Noob, I actually asked that same question during my first PW, I think Toa answered well enough to quote him again:

Is there a limit of how many comics we can have per page/post?
I think there may have been in older paint wars. But two comics a page are alright with me as long as a few people posted comics in-between or if the war is low in activity.
Grant it, we have different numbers of posts per page, so just don't go overboard.
Please ignore the smoking crater near my guy for now, I will explain in my first comic.

Yeah, I posted 1 1/4, but I felt the need to this for fun to show my character has an M.O. + explain her celestial powers a bit. For the record, I assume you placed me at the center since I never explained where she was at exactly (She was somewhat close to the castle):
I'll re-post my next comic later when it's on the 2nd page or so just to make sure everyone can get their moves in. :3
Since some people weren't able to see my comic in the last thread, I'll post it again as well as another one. Here's a short character bio too. Character Bio:
