I haven't visited RV in a few months but today randomly decided to take the opportunity to pop in and say hello and share a few lols with you all.

Firstly, apparently it was my 8th year anniversary here a few days ago - not really indicative of the actual time I've spent here but worth a mention anyway I thought.

Okay, now for the epic lols. BULOO especially will appreciate this story - I hope you read this.

So I quit Runescape back in November 2010 (According to my signature, anyway) with a Red Partyhat, Santa and about 40M cash on my account among all my other items. I was very happy with the decision. However a few months ago, around the time of my mid-year University break, I found myself rather bored and falling into old habits. I was logging in every for a few hours a couple of days a week; having a bit of fun being a rares merchant. Eventually I ended up with a Red Phat, Blue H'ween Mask, and about 28M cash, or something.

Anyway, one day about a month ago, I logged in extremely tired and apparently with disastrously low concentration levels and made a very astute trade: I traded my Red Partyhat, Blue H'ween Mask & 28M Cash for 20 lobsters, worth a nifty 6k, to some random scammer on World 1. I think he was level 12. I was very impressed with this young nooblet's generosity at the time - here he is giving me 20 lobsters out of the kindness of his heart. I ran over and sold them on the Grand Exchange, got my 6k - they see me rollin', went to deposit my winnings which is when it suddenly hit me. My trade actually had an approximate loss of -2.4B. I had derped one of the derpiest derps you could ever derp.

My reaction lasted approximately two minutes, and went a little something, like this..

- What the ? Wat?? (Lasted for about a minute)
- What is this I don't even
- Interdasting...
- A brief thought about how all those hours where whisked away in a few seconds
- When I realised I was more annoyed about being so stupid than losing the items
- Me cracking up about just how stupid I had actually been
- Haha, I actually pulled this face - it was hilarious, maybe you had to be there
- Why am I taking this so well?
- Genuine relief that I had just hammered the final nail into the coffin of my RS life.

And I haven't thought about it much since. I find it absolutely hilarious as I hope you all will. If that had happened to me a few years ago I probably would still be in the foetal position today. I think my only regret is that the items went to a random nubcake - that I or a friend did not benefit from it, but you can't win them all.

Just think.. that scammer probably RWTed your hat off for some ridiculous amount of money. It's sad that people are willing to pay and lessen the achievement of others.
