After a long, sleepless, night that included more than one chilling scream pierce through the dark, the sun finally broke over the horizon.
With the rise of a new day, and a renewed sense of security, the swordsman dry-washed his face and slipped on his leather boots. In one fluid motion, he drew a deep breath, unlocked the deadbolt, flew open the door and burst out of the house to have the morning rays pour over his face. Basking in the warmth, he turned and clasped the door shut.
Walking briskly and purposefully, he set out to meet the others. As he walked, he only vaguely noticed that he neared the village square; for he had begun to lose himself deeply in his thoughts. He vowed to himself not to repeat yesterdays tragic mistake.
He was torn from his thoughts as he stumbled into a dense crowd. He was suddenly aware of his surroundings, the fountain in the center of the square, market stalls around the perimeter, and dozens of gathered citizens.

Gathered around two bodies, strewn across the street.
Immediately, he knew the screams in the night were from these two men. Shuddering, he forced himself closer. He needed to identify the bodies. kneeling over, he found a small, silver medallion that had been concealed in an inner breast pocket on each man. His lips pursed into an almost unnoticeable smile. Mafia.
He stood to announce the discovery, and as he rose, out of the corner of his eye he noticed a dark sinister smile. For even in the face of death, do mafia members have little honor. He locked eyes with the man, and at that moment, both froze.

Noob is making bad logic arguments, and I think they are tok bad to be ruled out as simple "noob mistakes" pardon the pun Everyone kinda sucks their first game and doesn't properly understand everything, but noob is just being more than that. I don't think that anyone even in the first rv game of mafia sucked that bad. Noob is just sticking out to me like a red herring, but that doesn't mean he can't be mafia. I want to hear from him again before I jump on this train that is likely goning to leave the station very fast seeing as he is the only suspect.

Also, two mafia killed and no one else? What?

Well well. How very interesting. I am flattered, scummy scumbags.

Last night I was visited by the mafia and propositioned to join their ranks...though I would have declined anyway, I wasn't able to make it online before the invitation expired and I declined by default for not responding. The mafioso then 'blasted me with lightning' but I'm clearly not dead, and am not affected in any way (yet). It's a pretty safe bet that Ex Rex might have had this power, and wanted me to join him as we're good buds outside of RV...but really, it could have been anyone.

I'm gonna go ahead and roleclaim because frankly, I have nothing to lose. I am the dark knight Cecil, from FFIV. I can use my dark attack to nightkill a player at the cost of my vote the next day. I can also choose to turn away from the dark side at any time and become a paladin. Though I'm not told how this will change my role, I assume I would then become a doctor role of some sort. Though my role sounds evil, I am aligned with the town. Neither of the dead mafiosos were my doing, however.

Thoughts: not following the noob train. And I am surprised that ex rex actually was scum, making that 4th vote was incredibly sloppy of him. Also inclined to believe Henry is town given that animal was willing to leave a vote linger on him.

Other notes: noob and market man are scummy for voting for Scar, as is doc henry...but the noob train has manifested too quickly for my liking. As said before, doc seems town because of animal's vote on him. Making the scummiest of the three market man6. Who, granted, seems to be having a great time roleplaying but all I get out of any of it are his votes. And his votes look scummy to me.

Also inclined to believe bluecoat is town due to his vote on ex rex.

And something about Tanks' "wait and see" comment doesn't sit quite right with me. That doesn't need to be said really, trying to be overly fair, are we????

At the time i thought there were equal votes for Rex and Scar

Scar - Rex, MM6, Me and Dr. Henry
Rex - Lander, Penguinguy, Blue, Scar

I didn't see Lander and Penguinguy change their votes, so i assumed it would be equal.

I had no reason to change to anyone else, and keeping it even seemed fine to me.

Just a simple mistake of being too busy to see page 2 and getting Scar lynched by accident.

In all fairness to me, I voted at random as a joke, but then figured that there is more to be gained from a Day One lynch or attempt at lynch than sitting around doing nothing, so if others seriously wanted to go for it, I wasn't going to back down. As you have clearly done, the outcome has lead to analysis of the voters - although I'm not as inclined to clear Bluecoat's name... if you see a train building up on a fellow mafia and a 50/50 chance of them being lynched and its Day One, Bluecoat has played enough to know that voting for him this early could get him a free pass...

Out of Noob and Marketman, I'm inclined to agree with you... marketman is basically voting with no reason other than his roleplay post makes him "look across and know he is a mafia"

Tbh on the first day, I noticed there were two votes on a guy. I added mine, and really? Why not! Its the first day with 15 of us left. We need to try to kill mafias. After all this is a Upick and with a name like scar.... That's really what I based my vote off of. It sounded mafiaish to me. I'm not happy I was wrong(I HATE being wrong lol). I could have changed my vote yesterday. But my logic was good enough for me! And if I did change it at the last minute, then what? I'd be viewed as a wishy washy mafia. That would have brought much attention to me, which I obviously don't want. Cause that means I'm dead and have to leave

Today, my vote was going to be between henry or noob.(Yes kinda blaming them for my mistake). And it seemed to me that noob has been overly defensive. So he got my vote. I'm not changing it without good reason. I just don't believe him to be a townie. Simple.

In a standard game of mafia, you would be. In upick, it depends on whether that role is confirmed as villager or not, and exactly how powerful the role you claimed is. You claimed something that's difficult to confirm AND is fairly unpowerful. You're on the mercy of the village now. [/chivalrousexplanation]
