Same but I've had it on the PC. If I get this on the 360, I might even play better. ;P

When i saw that trailer while watching TV I was a bit put off by the Chiefs revised helmet, it just seemed a bit taller. But now that I look at it I really think it has grown on me.

So excited for this as well because the scenes of gameplay they showed looked so dang beautiful.

A remake of an Xbox game isn't a remake if it is on the sequel to the Xbox only, but it is if it is on PC as well?

Halo 1 had a PC edition bro. Same with Halo 2. If you're going to do a remake, remake it for both of the platforms it was on when it was originally released.

Wiki has PC coming out two years after Xbox. That said, they should make it... though part of me is sad that a remake of a game everyone in this generation knows is going to sell so well.

Odds are about 10-1 that they won't be releasing a PC version of this. Even if they do, you can be utterly certain that there won't be a Custom Edition this time around.

Yea, I bought gold when it was cheap before the price hike. Then I red-ringed and still haven't got a new one yet.

Bright side: you can get a Kinect now :p I'm gonna get the sensor soon... I decided to get one after MS bought Skype, it's gonna be sweet

Me and my sister split the 250GB Kinect bundle last January, I took the Xbox and she got Kinect to use on my old Xbox. From the little bit I have played with it however, I really think Kinect is a worthwhile investment.

I have the new xbox 360 which is Kinect ready and i decide not to get Kinect because there aren't any good games that require Kinect yet, but i heard that Gears of War: Exile will use Kinect, and that's like 2 years away so the Kinect box will be more like £40 instead of £100.

So I've been doing some reading on this game, and apparently it uses the same game/physics engine as the original, but with updated graphics (although the multiplayer will be using the Reach engine). In other words, it's the same game, same engine, same gameplay, etc. but shinier. Also, it's supposed to have a feature where you can press the "back" button on the 360 controller to instantly switch between the graphics from this version and the original version of the game. They're also (faithfully) remastering the soundtrack.

That being said, this feels rather like a cheap way for the company to simultaneously capitalise on the success of of the franchise and the nostalgia of the first game. Don't tell me they're not charging full price for this thing. Not that I wouldn't actually like a remastered version of the original, but I'm probably not going to buy it unless they make a PC port...

They're not charging full price actually. They're charging $40 instead of $60 in the states. Not sure what they're charging elsewhere.

With everything coming out this November, I'm not sure I can afford to get this. I still want it, though.
