Hey guys, as we know, RC Master Robes are being released this month that would give bonus exp when runecrafting which is really great since RC can be really exp heavy and/or monotonous at times. In order to buy these robes, we'll need RC tokens gained from the Great Orb Project in the miningame. As some of us know, getting these tokens isn't necessarily an easy task because if you go on an GOP server, you can either find yourself in a great team that can conquer all the altars or you can be on the losing team. As such, I'm taking down names here in this thread for those individuals that want to play 50/50 games, that way we can all gain tokens much quicker without the need of gambling our time on a team that may or may not win.

What are 50/50 games? Well, in a P2P game of GOB, there's 10 altars to be conquered. For each altar you conquer, you gain 100 tokens and the loser only gains 10 tokens. So how this work is that one team is allowed to conquer 5 altars and then the remaining 5 altars are conquered by the opposing team. At the end of the game, each player gains 550 tokens (500 from 5 wins and 50 from 5 loses). This will help everyone on RV to obtain these robes once they are released and helps us avoid the hassle of finding people willing to do 50/50 games. Just write your name and timezone and I'll make a list so you can contact individuals whether through the clan chat or PM to see if he/she is free to play some games.
*Note, there's a minimum of 2 players on each team and a maximum of 5. A guide on how to play can be found on rs wiki. For the cliff notes version, all you have to do is attract the most orbs (green for green team and yellow for yellow team) to the altar and you score a point. You're also rewarded pure ess that you can craft into runes for double the normal exp so it's wise to bring pouches and save the pure ess for the higher level altars.

Players for 50/50 Games:
RFruitJungle - GMT-5 (EST)
Glodenox - GMT-4
Poison333 - GMT-5 (EST)
Jiimmii - GMT-5 (EST)
Jimmybe - Any time (THE GAME)

*If there's anything else you think I should add, let me know.

Getting a 50/50 game is hard at the moment. A lot of posts on the RS forums are being deleted about 50/50 games because Jagex frown upon them for some reason.

I'd be up for a 50/50 game if any other rvers are at one, I'm sure we could get one going ourselves with just 4 people.

List updated.

Heh, I know you told me that Jagex frowned upon 50/50 games but I didn't know they'd go around deleting posts about them o_O. Strange =/. If that's the case, why aren't they doing the same with SC games that don't involve any combat?

Likely because 50/50 games are being done for the to-be released rewards, which is easier to try putting down than a now drilled in tradition of non-combat SC.
