U-Pick: Redux - Overpowered Village wins.

Whether or not someone is evil in their media of origin has absolutely no bearing on what the role's alignment is. In fact, when hosting Upicks I tend to try and make the most obviously 'good' roles into mafia roles. I imagine Animal has been in enough of these to do the same, so him being Shephard means absolutely nothing in regards to his alignment.

I don't know if Tanks is mafia but I don't think actual alignment correlates with character. If you're going to unvote, that's a bad reason to do it.

One of my main reasons for voting for him was because he was making what appeared to be nonsensical posts in response to my requests to info concerning his vote, having some context has shown that they aren't nonsense at all. In fact the quotes seem to be from when Shepard was trying to convince the council that Seran was evil.

That said I would still like an explanation for his Jackstick vote that doesn't involve quotes from the game.

This would go along with him being a lyncher. Not sure why he's so unsubtle, though.

So... yeah. Votes are heavily split, I don't think we're getting a lynch today. I'm now suspicious of Lander for asking for elaboration on a bandwagon vote without voting himself, and Scar on gut instinct for fleshing that out. I feel like Tanks was made a goat for today to distract from any actual lynches. That said, I'm not voting Lander just yet because he hasn't been on in two days, and I'm not voting Scar because that would assume that Lander is already mafia. Not that either train would take off in 24 hours or however long is left. Jack isn't himself, I'm sticking to that vote for today.

My bad. Still doesn't change alignment argument, it could be anything. Muter isn't a town role. My vote sticks.

If Jackstick doesn't respond to his prod, he will be dealt with swiftly and sloppily. Perhaps I will wrongly display his alignment. Who knows?

The village has decided that HoNk was too suspicious of a character not to lynch. Luckily for them, he was the infamous which made him scum.

So... long story short... I was right about Steely being mafia... and the mafia are killing off all the active people (Kikori, Lander) and i've been somewhat active in this game...I fear for my life.

Seems that the mafia tried killed Kikori because he was suspicious of Lander and me for voting for Steely. Probably to make us look like mafia. When that didn't work and we killed off Steely, they switched to Lander, who they quite rightly viewed as a bigger threat than me (he's played more than me and better in most games) and now I'm most likely going to be viewed as a mafia for surviving, or killed tonight as the next most active/good at working out mafia/trying in this game target left.

That said, the lack of willingness to vote for Steely yesterday, leading to a lynch only by deadline voting rather than a hammer-vote at the end, has left us with a condumdrum... at this point I'm willing to say that whoever else voted for Steely is 70% likely to be a mafia (me, Lander and someone else? I know 2/3 aren't mafia, so must be that other person) as they probably thought it'd be a secure vote.

So... who voted for Steely?
