i always found being Suspended a usless punishment for kids, if anything make them come in on saturdays and sundays with detation and double homework. Not give them time off school to sit at home and watch TV/ Play games. Still i would rather fight back once than not fight back and get picked on for god knows how long.

That bully got what he deserved. I don't think he's going to mess with that other kid ever again. There was a news story....bully's mother said apparently he's going to be grounded and she's going to make sure that he apologizes to the other kid.

I really don't think he should have gotten suspended if that's what happened AND it was caught on video. He was standing up for himself.

Heard about this a while back, it was on numerous talk shows and news stations. Then I saw the video.

Wow, we need more kids like this. Sadly, sometimes the only way to stand up to these things is to just fight back. Screw the "If you feel like you need to talk it out, go to the counselor.", the real world doesn't give you that option. *Nike slogan*

And if any of you have ever been thrown the ground on solid concrete, it hurts. Bad. From what I've heard, the jerkish kid had some fractured bones and internal bleeding and whatnot. Serves him right. Jerk.

EDIT: Best part: when the awesome kid walked away like the BAMF he is.

i think he handled it perfectly. He gave the bully an oppurtunity to stop, after that failed he took matters into his own hands. And he didn't do anything excessive, after he slammed him he just walked away. It's ashame he got in trouble, but oh well it's just a suspension, nothing huge.

Moral of the story: If you're an *** you get smashed.
