Hmmm im not sure about this, as it might open the floodgate with every single message containing or consisting of swearing, also the fact that people may start swearing at each other causing more problems.

It is alright saying that there is a filter but how easy will it be for a young person to turn it off, then its time trying to explain to Timmys mum how timmy has learned some new swear words and is using them at school.

If anything i think that we should let out a few words on the filter nothing to offensive just to see how it plays out on the forum before beging to remove it completly.

I'm not sure you a) fully understand which censor we're talking about, and b) know the age of the people that frequent RV Lounge.

I was thinking the same thing about Kiaba's post. Kiaba, The other day, Runescape gave the option to turn the filter on or off, this wasn't about the Runevillage bunny censor itself.

There is nothing wrong with swearing as long as it is not intended to insult someone, or is used in lewd or obscene context.

If people are offended by swearing they can keep the filter on, so why is the moderating staff worried about it? Easing up the rules would make their jobs so much easier.
