When I left there were many, many more forum channels at RuneVillage, but since recently becoming active again, I noticed nearly all of them have been eliminated.

Was this done for a specific reason, other then tons of people quitting Runescape/Runevillage altogether?

"things you would like to see in runescape" has always been my favorite channel, so i'm glad its still here, but with the resurgence of people joining runescape and RV again, shouldn't we create a few more now that people will slowly take more interest in forum talk?

The staff has removed the ones deemed unnecessary, or merged the ones deemed too inactive with other forums as to not spread out the forum activity too thin.

Yea, with Jagex shunning websites for a while, them making their own forums, introducing the GE, removing the wilderness and free trade really took a toll on us. A lot of forums became inactive, so we decided to merge the ones that went together.

However with the return of free trade and the wilderness; our activity has picked up again. We just added back the market forum and hopefully more to come with more activity.
