The Villagers decide they want to be zetta boring and let the entirety of Day 1 pass without attempting to actually kill anyone they suspect to be part of the Mafia. And of course, that would be perfectly fine, if the nightly veil of darkness that was now surrounding the Village didn't also bring the ever-looming of death. Each Villager returned to his or her own house for the night.

End of Night 1

11 of the Villagers gathered in the Town Square the following morning, most of them hoping that someone might have fresh ideas as to who the Mafia were. Meanwhile, Dr Henry ran from person to person, pretending to shout in all of their faces. They took it as an obnoxious joke, until Dr Henry's downtrodden expression revealed that his predictament was very much real--his voice had been stolen overnight! Dr Henry would be able to do nothing but cast a lynch vote by pointing at someone, but otherwise, he was muted!

After finally figuring this out, the eleven wondered why Monk Basher had never shown up. They all headed down the road to Monk's house, and pushed the door open when they realized it was unlocked and ajar. What they found shocked them--the young teenage girl with white hair they all knew and loved, a bloody knife embedded in her chest as she slept, never to wake again. A strange device that strongly resembled an original Nintendo DS lay on her bedside table.

The eleven quietly closed the door behind them and strode in silence back to the Town Square. The Mafia had struck again, taking another innocent life. Was the Village going to sit idly by and allow this to happen?

The lack of activity was frustrating me. I was just honestly surprised something SHOCKING and UNCALLED FOR didn't occur, like a Nocturnal Detective claim or a daytime kill.

Monk is generally a high-profile target... I can't take much from his death based on what we saw in Day One. He sparred briefly with Henry but it seemed to be mostly joking.

I guess I'll vote for Scar
