I feel like i'm going no where in life. :/
I am barely passing university, i work alot of hours and it's pretty good money, but it's not what i want to do for the rest of my life. I'm addicted to RuneScape and smoking, i drink every weekend. I have a social life but it only includes partys (getting wasted).

First of all, with university, play to your strengths. I am doing a lot of History/Politics subjects in my degree now and it is working very well for me.

With work, always aim for better. I'm hoping to get into politics, but you would want to do something different. Set yourself a goal and stick to achieving it.

Nothing wrong with Scape addiction.

With smoking, you have to ask yourself - what do you really get out of it? It's exceptionally expensive, will kill you, makes you less attractive and contrary to popular belief, doesn't really help with stress (Unless you count making you more stressed via addicition, then a relief of this -added- stress by smoking).

The only thing I can't really help you with is the social life, I'm very much an introvert.

Cut down your hours at work, then you earn less and have less money to spend on alcohol and cigarettes but more time to focus on your studies.

If you get desperate you can contact Jagex about your addiction and they can refer you to services that can help you.

Focus on the things you are doing now that are going to help you in the future, like completing your university course, everything else is only going to be detrimental in the long run.

Maybe you're life isn't so bad... the smoking thing could mean trouble later on down the road, but it's nothing too bad right now. You're doing college so your job isn't the end. Relax, be glad you can go to parties and get wasted.

Don't waste your time around people who bring you down though.

No one in college knows what the hell they are doing in life, but you better get those grades up and get that degree. Doesnt matter what its in, as long as you get it many more jobs will open up for you.

a how can you be addicted to runescappe? Its a wonderful game but after I went to college and actally made friends and got hobbies it just bores me to death. Smoking, just cut down. I limit myself to a pack a week. Its hard, but you dont need more than a couple cigs a day seriously.

Social life, you just need a cool hobby you can do with other people. A lot of my social life consists of hanging out with other music producers and layin down a sick mix or producing a new track. I party with these guys for sure but thats not the only dimension to our relationships. Same with a lot of girls, yeah I party with them but I also will hang out with them one on one and just talk. Get some friends like that who you can just talk to. Its important to have a circle of 20 or so really close friends, but people who you just see at parties all the time are nothing more than acquaintences. There was a girl in one of my drug classes who thought she was so popular cuz she always knew where the party was at but after she quit drinking cuz she got a DUI she realized she had no friends at all. Thats really sad, dont let that happen to you

I don't really use forums that much, but I found this and decided to see if anyone could help me...

Well this girl I was dating for a couple months was living with her great-grandparents because he actual parents can not watch her. Her great-grandparents started to not feeling well and they could not take as much care of her.

Then out of nowhere CPS came during school and took her to another relative and I have tried to talk to the CPS officer, but I cannot talk to her. I don't know really. I can't stop thinking about what happened to her. She's been through so much.
Anyways. I don't know what to do I can't get over what happened. =\ ..IDK..

Can you get in touch with her great-grandparents and ask them how to contact her? CPS is not going to tell you anything unless you're a relative, and maybe not even then.

I get extreme anxiety when it comes to initiating conversation with females outside of my immediate family. If they greet me first there is no problem whatsoever, but I can't count the times that I have awkwardly passed girls that I am pretty good friends with in the hall at school without even casually saying 'Hi'.
