We did because he got a replacement, who happens to be muted, making me think the muter is either town or third-party, and in either case is no longer a credible threat.

Yes, and that problem is a lack of clear communication. Mafia is already a roleplay; please don't insert another roleplay into it. It's just confusing.

:33 < tru, there was both a beating up and an attack on someones life last night. that said, i agr33 that we lost sight of st33ly, but nobody said anything against him claiming giant of stone tower, so id actually place him as less of a threat than dr henry like sollux suggested. we dont know if failing his role makes him a loose cannon or some other purrsnickety twist

Even if he had though, he wouldn't be of any real use to them other than to try and throw a wrench into the towns plans. Hard to see how he could do that though since he is now a powerless third party(which is also why he would be a waste of a lynch).

Pretty much. If the town wants to win, they wouldn't waste a lynch on a neutral role who can't win anymore... people pushing to kill me are probably mafia.
