Don't think anything could bring me back to RS. Other games are taking up all my time. The only thing that could make me is if some of my friends started to play and not play the other games. But I do wish you all the best of luck in your RVA endeavors and PSI and toku 4 lyfe.

Not saying it is. ^^ Just that we don't need more squads other than the ones present atm.

I'll have to agree with Judge. I figured that the revival would start off with 2 or 3 clans and add more as soon as we get more members.

Honestly, I don't see multiple squads being healthy at the moment with the lack of members. You're going to have to keep in mind that a lot of people are joining because it's new and exciting, but the reality is that their activity is going to die very quickly. When that's spread across three different squads, you're going to wind up back to a dead RVA.

In my opinion, you should only have one squad open for now until the RVA gets back on stable ground. Anything more is just jumping ahead of the gun and unhealthy for the overall activity.

Anyway, I'd join if I was in a position to play RS, but I just barely have the ability to browse RV atm (and that will be gone this coming Sunday). Best of luck with the revival though; I'll have to remember to join once I can start playing RS again.

Step 1) Recruit massively for RVA as a whole.
Step 2) After someone has been a member for 1 month and has attended 3 events they are eligible to join a squad.

This makes squads something to shoot for, and it gives the people time to actually learn which squad they want to join before they just say "I WAN GO BRAVO CUZ IT SOND KOOL".*

*All members in the Bravo Squad joined because it sounded cool.

But my squad owns them all ;p

Theres no need to change anything at the moment, if you all look at the RVA forum youll see activity is good and events are coming through.

Please keep in mind that they do have a point, though--RVA revivals have happened before, with often the same results they speak of. Although I'm happy for your success, be sure to plan for the future, not just the present! :)

We're offering the input because we've had experience in group management and have seen how trends of activity tend to play out. Just keep it in mind, please. I want to see the RVA revived as much as anyone else, but things like this take planning and patience. Trying to use the same structure it had back when it was alive and well is most likely going to have negitive consequences.

Another reason you should hold off on multiple squads is because, as of now, you can't trust how active the current leaders will be in the future (no offense to any current squad leaders). For now you should just be focusing on getting overall activity up, and seeing who your most active members are going to be. Then, after a few months - Once you can be confident that a potential squad leader is going to remain active - You can start looking towards forming more squads.

But for now, squads are a bad idea. Just focus on the RVA as a whole.

So it seems like the RVA is pretty much dead again.

I believe that we can do this... we can still make a revival. If what Jagex says about making free trade and bringing back the original wilderness, a huge number of people will re-join their Runescape membership and hopefully bring the Runescape side of the village back to life.

Hopefully, with this wave of new and old players we can revive the RVA.

I shall join the RVA again, but I'm only F2p and am relatively busy with life and school. I don't know if I will get membership anytime soon, but I am on holiday break and have almost unlimited time to do anything this next week.
