I made a rouge to see how that would go. All the 4E classes seem much more powerful than their 3.5E counterparts...

So Pengu is going to be gone for a week, which throws off the Monday start date. I'd rather not start without him. Anybody mind if we start Monday the 9th? If you guys could have your characters ready by then, that'd be awesome. I'm having some trouble sorting out the Gametable, so this buys me some time too.

The three characters I've made so far. Sorry if that was worded poorly.

I haven't decided yet. I'm going to wait until the rest of the party is assembled, then try to fit into a role that needs filling. Tau'Ghesh is my favorite, but he uses Forgotten Realms content, so I'm not going to use him. There's a fair chance I'll wind up using none of them and making a warlock or something.

GOOD[ish] NEWS EVERYONE!

Interest has just peaked at over 8 players (some haven't posted much in this forum). We now need to decide if we want to split the group, or have one big group. If we do decide to split, feel free to play with a second character in the other group.

Parties over five tend to get messy, and fights tend to drag on, since the number of enemies should also increase. I'm for two separate parties, but I'll only play in both of them if one needs an extra person to make four.

I'll stick with one group since I probably won't be playing every week.

Just an update.

Decided to give myself a better name than "DC1" and decided to buy a lantern and some oil. Outside of that, nothing has changed.

I like one group if people are going to be dropping in and out often so that it's usually only 4-6 people.

1) So, if you haven't posted a character yet, I suggest you do so before Monday.

2) I plan to start around 3 pm Eastern/12 pm Pacific on Monday the 9th. If this doesn't work, post your objections now.

3) If you plan on playing and have never played before, ask me in chat on Sunday or late tomorrow night. If you can't make it to games regularly but would like to play, go ahead and pm me. We'll work something out.

4) The times that we do these may be tight initially. I'm going to be hosting games from someone else's home, and I don't want to be a burden on them. I'm also going to be moving in September, so there may be some more hosting issues when that happens. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it though, and hopefully we'll have the first adventure or two out of the way when that happens.

There's a 50/50 chance I won't be able to make it at 3. If I don't I should definately be available by 5.

I cannot be on until 5:30 PM EST at the earliest, and I may have to leave sometime between 6:30 and 8:00.
