And when Tahu's town, he usually makes a celebration out of it that I haven't seen yet.

Jack's last performance in Upick, if I remember right, involved him idling A LOT and only ever posting when Top prodded him. We can have him killed for lurking, but it's a lynch potentially wasted where it could be used answering a question about Tahu and Riptide now.

For one thing, I don't quite follow your either-or scenario. Rather, I do, but I disagree with most of it. Has it not crossed your mind that they could both be villagers?

For another thing, we have information on these two. We do not, however, have any information on Jack.

Tahu is more scummy. He literally hasn't done anything besides commentate and drift out. On that note, Jackstick hasn't done "anything" either, but I'll give him another day at this point.

I could go into an essay about why anti-town behavior shouldn't be tolerated (involving the metagame, of course), but really... just because Tahu and Riptide are acting the same as always doesn't excuse their behavior. Inconsistencies aren't the only thing to look for when scum hunting.

I concur. We must lynch him now for the sake of the metagame, we MUST teach people that they can't go around claiming "anniversary" and expect leniency. Topsummoner.

Detective? A likely story! Another dastardly roleclaim intended to throw the town off balance! Do you really think you can get away with it?

Alright. unvote

This is a surprise? In practically every game I play with Tahu this is how he rolls. Admittedly, in practically every game I play with Tahu when he plays like this he is mafia...but whether the one is indicative of the other I don't know.

Riptide is the usual and I don't want to try to work it out. Jackstick is a nub, and a very bad one.

For now, The Fury for trying to be a little too much of a good townie - unvoting bluey to give him a chance to explain, then promptly hopping back onto the train (i.e. covering his ass). He's doing the same thing today - alleged reluctance to vote for Tahu. The perfect townie; our very own Larry Craig.

I've said pretty much all I'm going to say on the issue. If I was mafia or a pro-village power role, I'd have more information or power, so I'd be more active in using it. I'm neither, so I'm less active. Same thing happened in Upick 4.
If you're the Detective, can we have a list of investigation results? You've already roleclaimed, so results should only help the town.

Lander, forgetting the if-then scenario, look at the reasoning behind the desire to lynch for both.
Riptide is clinging to other people's logic on a level that's uncommon for him, two days in a row now.
Tahu's staying active without contribution, an on-the-fence behavior that more often than not does signal a mafia.
If there's a reason you don't agree with these, I'd love to hear it.

Tweedy, his re-vote for Bluecoat was after Bluecoat himself admitted "I won't defend myself".

Riptide, bussing is when one mafia intentionally pushes for lynching another mafia in order for the one making the lynch to appear to be a villager.

And Tahu, how exactly as a mafia could you "use" the power? Unlike a regular villager who has to use logic with people to sniff out the mafia, you have to pretty much do the opposite; stay hidden and make sure only specific people get killed off. So I'm missing how you say you'd "apply" it is all.

Actually, if you look back at previous mafia games he was in, he always does this.

Again, the problem is that he's always like this.

Then my memory's faulty for not remembering Riptide to cling to people as close as he has.

Tahu, yes, is pretty much always like he has been. That's why I put my vote on Riptide.

As a mafia, I know who my teammates are and who my enemies are. Hence, I can nitpick on villagers while giving mafia as much plausible deniability as I can without drawing attention to what I'm doing. As a villager, however, I don't know who's who, and can't do that. An example would be yesterday; if, as a mafia, I had known Bluecoat was a villager, I would have jumped on the bandwagon with everyone else, both hiding myself in a crowd and helping to vote off a villager.
And yes, I do this a lot.

Well, I guess I can believe DC, so unvote.

Personally I am wary of lynching Riptide or Tahu, because Riptide is doing what he has done almost every game, mafia or not (but at least he isn't giving up), and Tahu isn't doing anything wrong. Sure he might not be doing anything right, but at least unlike Jack, or even Animal and Monk he's doing SOMETHING.
