I hadn't roleclaimed thus far for fear of being nightkilled, but it is indeed crunch time around here, so...yeah. (I was hoping I'd eventually get to reveal this myself anyway. )
I'm Jimmy Image (aka the main character stick guy from The Adventures of Jimmy.) My role is sort of like...a watered-down JoaT. I leave my house every night in search of Jaitia, and once I have two pieces, I can use their combined power to do one of three things: Investigate any player, protect any player, or kill any player. (That's not going to be canon in the adventure I promise. ) Over the course of the game, my actions went thusly:
Night 1: Found +1 Jaitia (one piece now)
Night 2: Someone cancelled the night actions with the Halo thing or whatever, but I did find one piece of Jaitia--I just wasn't able to perform an action with it.
Night 3: Found +1 Jaitia (three pieces now). I used two of them to protect myself like a selfish noob (the same action I tried to perform Night 2, but was cancelled.) That meant I had one piece left.
Night 4: Found +1 Jaitia. That made two pieces, so I protected myself once again. 0 pieces left.
Night 5: Found +1 Jaitia (one piece now)
Night 6 was entirely skipped, so I wasn't allowed to even find Jaitia (I guess unlike the Halo match night for some reason. Yay for consistency. )
Night 7: Found +1 Jaitia. That made two pieces, so I was allowed to perform an action. I decided to do something besides protect myself, but didn't quite know what. In the end I decided to kill DragonCrusher1 with this reasoning: He originally came back to life. If he came back to life as Mafia (like...as a Vampire role or something, which I was fully expecting, given how darn quiet he's been since returning to the game) then this would hopefully do some good. If he turned out to not be Mafia after all (which I guess is what happened ) then I figure he'll just come back to life Day 9 and we'll be more or less still good.
What this doesn't explain is why DC1 died if you blocked my Nightkill. Was he Mafia killed? My only other idea is that your block was redirected elsewhere, meaning a Mafia kill didn't happen and my kill went through, but I'm sort of doubting a redirection role still exists (if it ever did) this late in the game.
I would thusly vote for Scar or Tahu, but I agree 100% with your earlier words about possible hammering, so I'm going to wait until we know exactly what we're doing before I proceed with anything.
(This also probably confirms Paidea's watcher-type role of me, because I was out looking for shiny green rocks every night.)

Well, since all the cool kids are doing it:
I am Man-At-Arms of He-Man fame:
Each night I pick a target, and the effects of one power from the game are applied to them randomly. Meaning say I targeted Thyker one night, Top would randomly choose a power from a list of all of them in this game and then I would use it on him regardless of what it is. Outside of investigations I am not told the results of my randomly chosen actions. Night 1: Targeted myself, no results from Top
Night 2: Targeted Paidea, was told he was a Third Party
Night 3: Targeted Lander to test his claim that he cannot be touched at night, no results
Night 4: Targeted The Animal, no results which may have been because Lander killed him first
Night 5: Targeted Tahu, was told he was a Third Party
Night 6: Nothing Interesting Happens
Night 7: Targeted Thyker, hoping to protect him but apparently role-blocking him instead
Also as a side note I will be in Chicago this weekend, I will still try to check the topic once or twice a day via my phone however. Also we have been playing for 2 months now...

I'm seriously at a loss for who to go after right now, and a hasty lynch could end the game for us. However, it'll be do-or-die if we let the day slide without a lynch.

Top double-posted...shame on YOU. (Actually I'll go fix that, so nevermind.)

This has been my feeling, too. Earlier in the game than this I'd have just thrown a vote at someone, but right now, that could be a bad idea. On the other hand, no posts in three days means no one else seems to really have an idea, either...

Waitwaitwait...aren't I already confirmed as a villager? You know, the whole giant robot thing? Anyway, only thing I have is Thyker, who had me as semi-confirmed earlier in the day, and was pegged as a mafia a while back. Vote: Thyker

True, I had forgotten that you were in fact cleared.

because that's what L's look like in that font. when you quote it it is in a different font and you see the difference, you can look in your own quote earlier and see the same thing.

Also, for comparison,
1 . . . l one . L
Strikingly similar but aren't exactly the same.
Hmm...clever tactic. I never would've thought of that.
As Thyker collapsed to the floor, the host grinned and so did Scar and Jaron.
Tahu instantly became uneasy. "What? Both of you couldn't possibly..."
Jaron whipped out what appeared to be an assault rifle with a rocket attached as Scar began to burn with demonic fire. Tahu himself grew to a size of seven feet and his composition to that of plastic.
"I've succeeded!" shouted the host. "The magic has returned! I'm a genius!"
Losers: Everyone else. But we're all winners at heart, right?
Roles:
Hidden:
You are Craig Ferguson, Host of the Late Late Show. You are aligned with the village. During the night phase you can either use a puppet, give a monologue, or answer mail of one person. You may only do each of these once. Puppet: A mixed bag, random chance of either killing, roleblocking, investigating or protecting the target. Monologue: Roleblocks and mutes for the next day but tells the target who you are. Answer Mail: The target will be given the oppurtunity to send you a message no more than 20 words long. They will not know who they are sending it to. If the target chooses not to send anything, you may use this ability again on a future night.
You are Da-*slash* You don't have time for any bullshit, so you've aligned with only yourself. Once, if you are to die, you will slash your death post in half, negating any events that occured in that post excluding the ending/starting of a game phase. You can kill one player during the night phase. You win when you are the last one standing
You are Maxie, leader of Team Magmafia. You have three Pokemon at your disposal, Mightyena, Crobat and Camerupt. At night, you can send one of them out. Mightyena will stand guard outside someone’s house, preventing them from leaving (role block). Crobat will scout out someone, finding out their role name. Camerupt will kill the target with Eruption. Camerupt is one-use, Mightyena and Crobat can be used as many times as you like. Though kill responsibilities lie with Jaron, as the leader of the mafia, you will be told who each of your grunts are targeting and with what ability, and will be given the opportunity to redirect one action a night if you see fit. Your mafia consists of Jaron, PenguinGuy, Scar and Swifty Willownall
You are Mata Nui. You are aligned with the village (FOR ONCE). You're a giant that sleeps under the village but control a doll to participate in village meetings. If this doll were to be killed or lynched, you would awaken, destroying the village and roleblocking EVERYBODY for the night before assuming your 7-foot Toa body for the remainder of the game.
You are WTFBOOM. You are aligned with the village. If you have at least three votes during the day (excluding your own), you can say 'beep beep beep' in the topic. The game will proceed to a pre-night phase where roles that have a protection ability will be given the oppurtunity to use it on one of the people that voted for you. If more than three people are voting for you, you will have to specifically target three of them. After this pre-night phase ends, you will explode, killing the three people that you targeted unless they are protected ( and yourself)
You are Wayne 'Hax' Bruce, one of Guitierrez's most trusted employees... until he suffered a tragic sledding accident. You've come under new employment in the form of the mafia. During the night phase you can protect a member of the mafia. If somebody attacks them, you will kill them with your rocket and lose the ability to protect. In addition, you are responsible for the mafia's nightkill with your rifle, but if you die these responsibilities will be given to the godfather. The mafia consists of TheAnimal, PenguinGuy, Scar and Swifty Willownall
You are Domon Kasshu. You are aligned with the village. During the night you pilot the mighty GF13-017NJII God Gundam. During the night phase you can Protect a player with the size of your Gundam, Roleblock a player by MENACINGLY STANDING OUTSIDE OF THEIR HOUSE IN A GIANT ROBOT, or Kill a player using your MASSIVE ARSENAL. You can only use each of these once. However, if you use any of these abilities, the fact that you were out flying a gundam will be noticed and announced in the day start post. Oh and since you're in a fERKing gundam you're immune to one nightkill.
You are ________. You are aligned with _________. During the night phase you can target one player and __________ them. You win when _______________. --Mod's Note: You are Poisonous Traitor. You are aligned with the Mafia. During the night phase you can target one player and poison them. You when the number of players aligned with the mafia (excluding yourself) is equal or greater than the amount of other players left. You are immune to nightkills from members of the mafia.
You are the Second Most Dangerous Role. You are aligned with the Village. Not quite as dangerous as your predesessor, The Most Dangerous Role, you haven't been bound in a straitjacket and are free to kill one person at night. If at anytime your kill FAILS, your role will be revealed to that person, they will become immune to your kills, and they will gain the ability to protect one person at night from your kills.
You are Hermes, messenger of the gods. You are aligned with the village. Once you can target a dead player and they will be given an opportunity to send a message no longer than 10 words to the village.
You are the Black Hat Guy, usually the star of some of the wittiest XKCD comics. You are aligned with the mafia. You're a well-trusted and persuasive individual, able to talk your way out of a lynch once. In addition, you appear innocent to investigations. The mafia consists of TheAnimal, Jaron, Scar and Swifty Willownall
You are theoretical scientist Sheldon Cooper. You are aligned with the village. During the night phase you can visit a player and learn what kind of ability, if any, they were using that night. Once, you can combine two of the abilities you have seen and use both of them at once on a player. In addition, once, if it is a Wednesday (when you send the PM) during the night phase, you can call 'Halo night', inviting everyone to your house for a game of halo all night (roleblocking everyone).
You are the Mad Hatter. You are initially self-aligned, but during the night phase you can change your alignment to Village or Mafia. Your alignment only applies to what you appear as to investigations, on death, and what team you win with; you will not contribute to the mafia winning by majority. Once during the night, instead of changing your alignment, you can instead PM 'Change Places!' which will cause all night actions to be randomly scrambled for that night.
You are Satan, ruler of Hell. You are aligned with the Mafia. You have access to the abilities of those in your domain, and as such you are able to use the abilities of the last person who has died in the game. If multiple people died at the end of a phase, then who's abilities you have will be chosen randomly. The mafia consists of TheAnimal, PenguinGuy, Jaron and Swifty Willownall
You are Glodenox, Runevillage [:weird:] administrator. When there’s problems with RV, you’re pretty much the go-to guy. During the night phase you can check up on a villager and make sure they’re not having any site problems, and if they are, you can fix those problems. When visiting a player you will fix being unable to PM (role blocked), unable to post (muted) and unrightfully banned (protect).
You are Jules Winnfield. You are aligned with the village. If at anytime a player says ‘What’ four times in one day, you can dare them to ‘Say what again’. If they say ‘What’ again, then you are allowed to daykill them.
I hope you have no qualms with me using Black Mage from 8-bit theater as the inspiration for your role. You are the Black Mage, you cast the spells that make people fall down. You are aligned with the village. During the night phase, you can cast Hadoken to attempt to kill a player-- however, your aim is as bad as ever, as you have a 80% chance of missing, and a 10% chance of hitting a player you didn’t intend to kill. (chosen at random) You’ve got many violent defensive spells; you’ll role block and mute anyone who targets you with a negative effect (excluding a kill). But you’re also like a glass cannon; you break easily (you are immune to protection).
You are the Wizard of Yendor. You are aligned with yourself. If you are killed during the night phase, you will revive yourself at the end of the following day phase UNLESS you were role blocked during the night phase in which you were killed. You win if you survive to the end.
You are the Tahu1000 and Riptide Killer. You are aligned with Tahu1000 and Riptide. During the night phase you can kill a player. You win if either Tahu1000 or Riptide (or both) is still alive at the end of the game.
You are *cringe* Awesome. OH MY GOD I ACTUALLY SAID IT. You are aligned with the village. You are in fact SO AWESOME, that the person you visit during the night is protected from kills. AND SO IS EVERYONE ELSE VISITING THAT PERSON. (except you)
You are Vincent Vega. You are aligned with the village. During the night phase you can go to the bathroom… and something unfortunate will happen to someone, at random. Mod’s Note: 1/3 Chance of Muting, Roleblocking, or Kill.
You are the Metatron, highest of all angels. You are aligned with the village. During the night you can give divine intervention to a player (protect them). But anyone that has expressed disbelief in you (voted for you) is immune to your protection.
You are Bill Murray. You are aligned with the village. During the night you can target a player and get spotted by them doing an action of your choice. Who cares if they tell the village about seeing you out there? After all, “no-one will ever believe you”. You are immune to lynches, after all, no-one will ever believe that someone saw you doing mafia stuff either.
You are Winston Wolf. You are aligned with the Mafia. During the night phase you can target a player. If they die during that night phase, their role name and alignment will be hidden from all but you. You may not use this ability two nights in a row. The mafia consists of TheAnimal, PenguinGuy, Scar and Jaron
