Good sirs and madams, Steely now has 11 votes, and paidea's credibility is at stake. I will therefore unvote and wait for a defence. which makes the numbers of votes toward steely 10.

Sure of him self or not I tend to be a lightning rod for actions. Almost all games I'm targeted by someone (mafia or otherwise) most often to be killed but also investigations, mutings, etc... very early in the game. Wouldn't surprise me if the mafia went "Hey someones probably gonna do something to Steely anyways so lets just frame him and kill someone else for once."

Or Paidea could be insane, who knows.

About be almost dying, my guess is this: Someone has a role where the they can once-only protect all (Someone else protected Swifty first), then maybe do something like roleblock all, I dunno what else but do something to everyone, you get the idea. Someone picking three people to protect and getting all of them right is far too improbable.

As for Riptide:
He said he could ask a question to someone who was already dead. That removes the idea that he has to guess at who dies, especially when you consider he is a night role.

I don't really see his role adding up at this point. Riptide.

I guess not ask them a question but that's what people had been saying earlier in the day, was going off what they said rather than the specifics of your claim.

Regardless, Defeat cannot make a post you said he'd be able to. That doesn't support your roleclaim very well.

Everyone else: You all have a *ton* of time if you do decide to lynch me so please, if you do end up killing me and losing a townie, at least recuperate some of your losses and look into Riptide's roleclaim and see what else you can gather from the day.

I believe we're past the Riptide train. I think the vote for Rip was a desperate attempt to shift attention away on a noob target.

...Except for the fact that the vote is unrelated to the original train on him and that his roleclaim is directly conflicting with reality. :-s

Um, yeah. Kikori completely misinterpreted that and has been spreading LIES.

Forgive me for wanting to get something accomplished behind the scenes while we all vote for Steely based off a mute man's role.

I'm not after you for that, I'm after you because you've been assuming things about riptide's role and then basing suspicions and calling for prods when your assumptions are completely false. :?:

And steely, the fact that you've realized your mistake and haven't unvoted riptide kind of backs up Paidea's claim.

Ninja'ed: YOU GUYS. *MOST* of what has been said about his role hasn't been said by him. From what I understand, Riptide gets to target one person every night and *if* that person dies, they get to leave the town a message. I have no idea where all this other nonsense is coming from, but the people that are literally pushing for his lynch because of semantics are looking pretty pitiful.

So anyway, riptide, do us all a favor and offer a more specific description of your role. Are you told who dies, or do you guess?

And then subsequently leading several people astray. Remember, a townie does not want to spread confusion among the town for fear that it will take attention away from who is actually scum. You've been doing it all game long, sir. (spreading confusion.)

This was Riptide's claim. I don't see how it could get any clearer than that, one dead person. No conditions. Nothing about having to guess who is going to die, etc... just one dead person.

What we're debating is is riptide told by the host who is dead during the night, or does he have to make a guess, like a doctor guessing who to protect?

And what I don't get is why you think "dead person" is limited to someone who dies the night he sends the PM. :-s

Paidea: I am not claiming, but you'll probably see soon enough.

What paidea meant from that was the emphasize the word "claim". Meaning that he thinks its possible that RipTide was lying. Something I think some people are forgetting as a possibility (not that I think he is). That's what I'm getting from it and I assume Paidea will say if I'm right or not.

Sorry for posting at night, but I voted for Steely. And I can guess Lander, but it is risky. So I'll probably choose an already dead guy.
AND SORRY, I HAD TO CLEAR SOMETHING UP.

So you did. Still, that doesn't warrant a night post. Do NOT post at night.

I'm going to go ahead and put this new rule out because I have an idea where all my vote count mistakes are coming from. People are bolding a short-formed version of someone's name in the middle of sentences, making them difficult to spot.

From now on, you must vote like following:

Vote: Player's Full Name

Night Two ends.

The host waits at the Shipa Shrine, alone. Every player took off during the night, even some who had not given him their night action yet.

The host goes searching and finds the tourists in a shack, all playing one massive game of Halo. "If that's how it's going to be... then none of the night actions submitted tonight will go through!"

The host violently beats up the Xbox360s until they RRoD, then leads the tourists back to the shrine.

When they arrive, Steely Mallon keels over as the host draws a card from his coat and tosses it on the ground.

Steely Mallon - Bill Murray, Killed by Poison Night Two

"22 players remain, so it will take 12 votes to lynch. Day Three, go!"
