So as some of you may have noticed, I've turned my activity down here a little bit over the past probably around late July or early August. I was feeling a little bit burned out on RV after the few months before that I had really really cranked up my activity and to be honest I just wasn't "feeling it" anymore. I started deliberately avoiding this website and eventually I sort of just weaned myself off it. When I typed typed in www into my address bar, RV just stopped sort of being at the top of that naturally. I found that I was just on the internet a lot less, judging from all the skype conferences and messages I missed. I guess found other things to do.

Well yesterday I was sort of in a rut, I had no idea why but I felt like life was totally static at the moment. So I needed to make a change, and decided to drop all the things I wasn't passionate about. When I started scratching down my list of things I was passionate about, RV just wasn't as up there as it used to be anymore. It was by no means a response to any sort of community shift I've seen, it's just I've been here for half a decade now and that sort of wears thin after a while. Despite how absolutely great the community's been over the past months and I think the new step system has removed a lot of problems as well, but being a mod can still be kind of taxing, and I guess I feel like I'm sort of stuck in a loop here. I just didn't really feel an incentive to read and post a meaningful response to all the discussions despite how much I wanted to in the front of my mind.

So I'm feeling kind of burned out, and I'm going on a sort of hiatus. I'm by no means quitting, I love this community and feel like I've grown up with it and have made some very good friends here, some of my best friends in fact. I've been a part of so many fun groups whether it be skype or some sort of awesome trinity (Soren, Craftyllama, Goten, and Jaron... I'm looking at you!), a lot of those people are still here so of course I can't totally ditch them. I'm planning on logging on probably once a week or so for ten minutes roughly to browse a few forums, so I'll probably be doing very little modding unless I stumble onto a spam bot or something, and maybe chat for an hour or so. This will probably continue until November, and if I'm not back by then expect me back by Christmas. If not by then, get Jaron and Goten to jab me back into activity!

So, I love you guys but that's what happens when you're around each other for too much. :laugh:

If you need my Aim/MSN/Skype, there's a lot of people you can poke for it. I think I even have them posted around here somewhere I don't know.

P.S. Goten has taken leadership of my usergroup while I'm gone, I think he'll make a great leader and already does probably more than I do for that forum!
