I'm having a feeling that I'm not welcomed here at Rune Village for some reason. When I post, it like you guys ignore the whole topic and just leave it to the bottom of the screen.

I may comeback in a while to see whats happening, or just go online as hidden to see what you guys are going on...

Hey, defence. I wouldn't think that. Overall, we're in somewhat of an activity slump, so I wouldn't take a lack of attention personally. I certainly haven't seen you do anything that would warrant that kind of behavior.

You're certainly welcomed here.

I think everyone feels like this sometimes, to be quite honest. This is also true to real life, at one point in our life, all of us will feel a little ignored and unappreciated. I guess it's just the way things go, personally I try to reflect on it and try and give my posts more of a purpose the next time.

That's just me though, personally I see you as an equal member of the community as mods and admins, I don't believe respect should be based on hierarchies.

that doesn't mean you can't make me a mod though. ;D

Anyway, whichever path you choose to take, just enjoy yourself.

That doesn't mean you're not welcome It just means people don't think your topics are interesting enough to post in.

I've seen people make plenty of boring, pointless topics that go completely unnoticed. I can remember some boring topics that I've made, which I myself thought were interesting... yet I'd come back the next day to see that every topic has a new post in it except for mine. I don't feel like I'm unwelcomed though, I just suck it up and say "well I suppose my topic sucks, then."

On the other side of the coin, some people who make horribly boring topics sometimes make very interesting posts and replies to existing topics. I know some people who have written amazing replies to topics, but I have yet to see a topic from them. Additionally, if you post in a topic that dies immediately after your post, it doesn't mean you killed it, it just means the topic itself got boring and you happened to be the last poster. Some of us are good with making topics... others of us prefer to stick with writing good posts to topics, and maybe once in a while make a topic our self.

That's my two cents, hopefully you'll reconsider and stick around ^.^

I mean with all the homework that the Boarding school assigns me and that they expect me to finish a 2-3 hour homework in a 1.5 hour time takes a toll on my performance level as well...

I'll rethink about leaving for now... but until I'm out of my stressing homework make up situation, I'll be even less active then before...

Well, being me I wouldnt know what having an un-replied to topic feels like...

okay, joking aside, I think the first ever topic I made here was in whatever sig forum we had at the time, showcasing my new sig in a confused post asking for comments. It never recieved a reply. Yes it's annoying and a little embaressing, but face it, your topics just arent interesting enough, or maybe they're confusing and people don't know what to post.

Your name rings a bell but I don't really know you so I can't say I'm not posting on your topics just out of spite. If they're in the rs-related forums I won't even see them. Try a 'post your X' (where X is house, pet, hand, food, etc) topic in the pictures forum, that always seems to work if you want many pages.

But in summary, put the effort you spend in complaining into making better topics.

This person posted here because he felt unwelcome at the site, do some of you really think your comments are helping that issue? When someone is upset about something you don't throw it back in their face with sarcastic comments and low blows, maybe if some of you stopped to consider other peoples feelings and how damaging trolling can be to a community you might change your attitudes, though sadly I feel nothing will change.

To Thedefencema, ignore some of the comments on here, most of us are sorry to hear that a user is not feeling happy in our little community. It is possible that becuase you're not a "well-known" user your topics are being overlooked, try using a catchy title for example look at what the current trends are and try and form topics based on them, topics asking questions are very popular in general chat for example. Well written and thought out topics are also more likely to get replies than a simple one liner, pictures always help and you could try make the topic appealing by using good formatting for example highlighting important points in your text by changing the colour of it.

I will admit myself that I don't post that much, I'm more a lurker, because when I do post it tends to be quite long posts like this, which take quite a lot of thought, quite a few people are lurkers, so even if no-one has replied it doesn't mean that they haven't read and apprieciated your topic. The very fact that I've read this topic and taken some time to reply to it is a good seal of approval for you, I'm a tough gal to please

Hang in there, if you need any help with your life, for example your school stress, or feel the need to talk through any issues just send me a pm or use the help and advice topic in the general chat section, life can get the better of us sometimes, but you shouldn't let it get to you when there are many around willing to offer support

Just my opinion. I'm not trolling - just because my opinion differs from yours and is "negative" to all the uptight moderators around here does NOT mean it's trolling. I genuinely think this is a stupid topic, and as I have a right to click "post reply", I have a right to tell him that. These posts that are just aimed to create sympathy and seek attention are just unnecessary, and it seems to be me it was just written in order to hear some nice things about himself. Maybe that's all it was, maybe he's having issues in real life and that's all he needs; some compliments to feel good about himself. If that's the case, why not just be honest with us?

My question is, if you don't fit in here, what's the big deal? I don't think it will affect your life that much personally. No one can always be liked. There will always be people who dislike you. The sooner you accept that, the better for you.
