Hello.

I've never really fit in here at Runevillage, and it's recent activity has dwindled my interests. I know there are quite a few great people on this website. Furthermore, my life currently has gone on a spiral path downward, and it's out of control. People I care for dearly have abandoned me and my depression grows stronger. I wish Rune Village the best of luck.

What the heck do you mean you've never fit in? You've been an awesome villager, DragonFire. I'm sorry to hear about your continuing downward spiral and depression, and I really hope you can overcome it and that things make a turn for the better. But don't you dare think we don't care. You will always be welcome here no matter how active you are, and that's a fact.

Dragonfire... i'm going to be a bit nasty to you and point out some obvious facts....

firstly, the reasons you list for leaving us are absolutely the wrong ones....

obviously, it's a suprise to most folks that you don't think you fit in-- since everyone else seemed to accept you just fine.... maybe like kikori said, maybe we're all misfits and just didn't notice anything different....

and running away from problems like depression and such will never cure the problem..

here, it's apparent that you have friends, and friends who are, and would be, willing to help you with some of your problems...

while you don't have to, if you share some of your problems with some of your friends here, you may find that you're not the first or only person to have that problem, and that others have to ideas that may help you find some solutions of your own...

in my recent comments about our 7th anniversary, i mention the 'magic' of RuneVillage and this is a part of that magic... friends here who are willing to help you with your problems, and actually care about you....

so if you need some time to deal with RL issues... take that time and get them resolved... but in the meantime, save a little slice of your life for us here in the Village... it sounds like you're at a point in time you could use some friends, and here you have some....

maybe all we can do is talk.. but often, that's all you need... i can understand you may not want to discuss your problems with the whole world, but that's what PM's were invented for!

so how 'bout sticking around??

I hope you come back Dragon. A lot of people don't openly say it, but we are your friends.
