Hello Runevillage =)

I Just began playing Runescape yesterday, and I always try and make sure I join a forum community for each game I play. This helps me get to know the game faster, and get to meet some new people.

A couple of my friends told me about the different fan forums for this game, such as Tip.it, Runescape Community, and of course, Runevillage. I personally prefer to join the smaller communities, as it's easier to make the transition into the game that way, rather than joining a forum that's so busy that you can't get to know everyone.

Runescape is still pretty confusing, and I'm just fishing and cooking for now, while I wait for my membership payment to be processed to play the full game.

A Little About Myself

My name is Kolin, and I'm a 21 year old male, living in the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the beautiful great white north, Canada

I'm currently attending College for business administration, and majoring in Accounting. I'm finishing up my first year at the moment (Began in January and going through the summer to cut off half a year from my time in College), and approaching exam time next week.

My interests are Music, Movies, and of course, Hockey (Yes, playing out the typical Canadian stereotypes eh?).

My favorite bands are Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, and Metallica, which makes up the majority of the types of music I currently listen to. I will listen to any kind of music except Rap, Hip Hop, or any other "Rap Sounding" music.

My favorite movies are by far the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, along with The Matrix, and the Saw franchise. I will like pretty much any movie you put in front of me, and this is proven by my extensive DVD collection

Of course, being from the Toronto area, I'm a die hard Toronto Maple Leaf fan (Sad, I know). I don't care how bad they do, I'll still bleed white and blue.

If anyone wishes to chat, I'll try and be in the Runevillage chat as often as I can, or feel free to drop me a line in the game if you wish =)

I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here, and hopefully I can meet many people from this community in the early future

I have already met quite a few people from RV Lounge (Found out how clan chat works haha), as well as the Runevillage Chat room, and so far, I'm really enjoying my stay.

When it comes to guides, I tend to stay away from most of them, as i prefer to experience everything on my own. This makes the game more fun to me, as I can learn everything from personal experiences

And yes, I was told of the many "Quests" that are in the Village, which kind of made me laugh, as I had no idea until I made the name

As for my music tastes, they definitely are among the greatest bands to walk the earth =P, but my music taste also expands to other bands of a wide variety, such as Evanescence, AC/DC, Linkin Park (Pre-Jay Z), and many others. With an Itunes list containing over 10,000 songs, I could sit here all day naming the bands I listen to in total, but I think for everyone's sake, I won't

I played World of Grindcraft already, played it for 1 week and quit due to boredom Lol.

Regarding my name choice, I have played quite a few online games, usually under a name such as "I Am Canadian" or "Canadian" But those names were both either chosen, or too long. I spent about an hour trying to find a decent name with something relating to Canada, and "Canada Quest" seemed to fit. What a relief after all my attempts lol.

The Lord of The Rings were great books as well (One of the few books I would actually read), but I still prefer the movies

And seriously... you're like my exact double. It's actually kinda creepy.

I play RuneScape. I too am a fan of the smaller communities for essentially the same reasons. Of all of the fan sites, RuneVillage definitely has the nicest and closest community. You'll have a great time, and you'll get to know people very fast.

I'm 19, but I also live in the Greater Toronto Area, and am proud to be a Canadian. ^_^

I'm currently attending University (Guelph! Woo!), and while I'm not taking business (Bachelor of Science right now; majoring in Chemistry), Accounting was my very close second. Good luck with your upcoming exams by the way!

I love music, and will also listen to just about anything. I love movies even more (Around 150 DVD collection. ). I have the Lord of the Rings and Matrix trilogies. I don't have all of the Saws, but I have a couple of them. And I may love hockey even more than that. I too am a die hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan, no matter how good or bad they do.
