i recently left d2jsp forums where i was an extremely respected part of the community.
i left due to massive ammounts of spamers/flamers. i hope that this forum can become my new home
ive played rs for a year and a half now. im cbl 105 w/ 30 summon. im a mentor in the blacknights clan

if there is anyone or anything that i should know plz feel free to inform me. i hope that this forum wont be filled w/ spam/flamers. ive also brought some friends w/ me i hope they post here

in short. i hope to make many friends here and anyone new to rs plz feel free to ask me 4 help at any time.

Go to your User Control Panel at the top right corner. Then to Profile on the left Option section. Then to edit avatar. You need to post the image on image hosting site like imageshack.com or photobucket.com in order to get a URL for the image.
Before posting it's highly recommended to read the forum rules though, as there are specific limits for the use of signatures and avatars.

You can edit your profile by going to the User Control Panel up top clicking the "Profile" option. You can edit your signature and avatar in there. Just make note of the size limits, 400x150 total image size in sigs, and a profile of no more than 55kb. If you need anything resized, feel free to ask. Also, if you want to show off a lot of stuff, feel free to check out and start a topic in the Graphics Discussion and Tutorials forum.

Usually you go to something like [url="http://www.imageshack.us"]imageshack[/url], upload, and grab the "hotlink to forums" from what shows up. Or put the "direct link to image" between img tags, like...



Keep in mind that signatures and avatars can only be so large, both in actual size and file size, so if you want to show off larger pictures go to the picture forums to find where you need to post ^_^

Hello Everyone I'd just like to say I came as well though it took me forever to find a name that was suited to my liking and since I plan to be here a while I wanted it to be a great one.

I also came from D2JSP because as of late things have just gotten too out of control on those forums just like panther said. We joined about the same time and are good friends in game and I'm looking forward to making some new friends via RV. As for the person who posted about quality over quantity that is certainley what I was looking for smaller more tightly knit groups are generally nicer and more of a good experience it was once that way on our old forums but things change I guess. Though our personalitys differ rather greatly me and chris are suprisingly like 2 peas in a pod. My names Russ by the way almost forgot to introduce myself, Thank you for welcoming us everyone I'll be sure to use the CC a bit when I can to get to know some of you.
