I need a break...

Yesterday, my step-grandfather collapsed in his garden and died soon after. I'm rather depressed, he was an awesome person and for the few years that I knew him I will be eternally grateful.

I'm staying with my dad for a few days. It doesn't really help that I have important tests coming up. Today I had to beg to one of my teachers to be able to sit a test tommorow instead of today, because I was too distracted to revise over the weekend.

I think I need a few days or possibly weeks from RV, to clear mind and sort my life out a bit.

Sorry to hear about your grandad. It's always hard when you lose somebody you loved.

I had my grandfather visit from across the US when I was 8. He died of a heart attack at our house, and I was the one to find him suffering it. I sympathize with you.

That's horrible, Nate. I'm sorry to hear about your Grandfather, but on top of that, your tests as well.

But, even if you are over the unfortunate death of your Grandfather, if your grades are dropping it may be a positive idea to take a break from us to bring them up first - we're aren't going anywhere.

So sorry to hear all that, Nate.

I was in the front hall of my house when I saw my grandfather collapse of a stroke that ultimately took his life in a hospital 3 days later, so I can perfectly empathize with you.

Good luck recovering from the pain and shock, and best wishes while dealing with your loss. Do take a break, as we'll all still be here when you're ready to come back, but school is certainly without a doubt paramount to any internet forum involvement.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather, Mine passed a year ago, So I think its safe to say i know what its like.
One things for sure, things just wont be the same without him.

I hope your family can manage well.

So sad about your step-grandfather, really, my grandma died of lung cancer :-({|=

In the future i wish i could find a cure for death...

I know it was a hard time for me, and I think it's for you to..

You should open up to 1 person you really trust, it will feel much better then.
