Even though I know that you disagree, but I think you should have Staff Elder. There's so much work that you put into it, and you do deserve to have that rank. I'd wish that you would reconsider.

I would do as well, but i'd rather be a normal user than hold a pointless rank for things i've done in the past.

Without the past, there will be no present. But without the present, there will be no future.

If i was to hold Staff Elder rank, i would still be tied into Staffy stuff for RV. I don't want to be anymore. There's things i want to do, places i want to see, etc etc etc and i don't really want anything to tie me back if i was to pack up and leave one day. If i was to hold the rank, i would feel like i'm letting the Vilage down by walking out, and i've done that enough times recently.

So it was a very consciencious decision on my behalf. I don't deserve the rank now for what i've done to the Village in the past, and i also don't even want the rank in case i walk out on the Village again. Hopefully unannounced.

Runevillage the forum is pretty well much done. Runevillage the group will eventually die, but as long as we're still friends with each other in the end, it's still a pretty big thought in our heads. Runevillage the family is forever, no matter where we settle down. If absolutely nothing else ever comes of Runevillage in the future, that alone is a pretty damn awesome thought.

Trust me, you wouldn't be letting us down if you walked out whilst holding the Staff Elder rank.

The rank is designed to give credit where credit is due. You did do work in the past for Runevillage, and whilst you may not carry on doing so, the Staff Elder rank was there to give you some recognition amongst your fellow members. As Avian Maid said in another topic, it is a great honour to recieve the Elder rank, because it shows that the Administration team deems your work to be of such a high standard and good consistancy that you deserve some recognition even whilst you are sitting around on your ass.

I don't know. Yes you did a lot of work but MAN, all we heard from you before you had the staff rank is, "Im getting promoted for sure, staff rank me blah blah, etc" and to be honest, I was quite surprised you got the staff rank. Yes, I acknowledge the work you've done here at the Village but hell with your attitude, you shouldn't have gotten it at all.

But yeah, welcome back King.

I have to agree with this, there were a lot of people who deserved the rank more than you, in fact, more than any of us who got promoted. That's a different matter entirely.
