I'm not going to pretend I know you particularly well, but I know you enough to say that you shouldn't feel an ounce of remorse for stepping down. You have nothing to be sorry for, you've done a great deal for Runevillage.

I'll just say thanks, Zilla.

Everything has already been said.

Thanks for everything Zilla. I haven't been here long. But from what I know and have heard of you, you were a fantastic Admin.

Sorry to see you go, Zilla.

Bye.

I really understand what you're saying about *letting people down* and stuff. It gets quite stressful when you know you're expected to do something here but you don't have the time.
At least you're not leaving! :-)

I don't want to repeat anyone, but I hate to see you go. You've done a great job at RV. I hope you don't completely leave us!

It's hard to not repeat anyone here. But it's harder not to post.

Jackstick covered one point quite clearly... It's hard to just skip over your posts, ever. Every one of them has meaning and something valuable to keep in mind; I'm going to miss being able to see new quality on these forums.

Another thing... You haven't let ANYONE down. Even if you never got the administrator's power, you were a part of this website beforehand, and a good one. You were also a moderator before administrator... You didn't let yourself down if you were a good a villager back then as you have been since getting the blue name.

If it's a sense of duty and that alone keeping you from real life, you have the right to ignore this site for a while. Real life comes first, for just about anyone online, and especially for someone with a baby to raise. You've done your work here, and done it well. Also, whether you get eldership or don't remove your powers, you can come back at literally any minute and keep helping this site. Just make sure that, when you do, it's because you want to. Hopefully by then we'll have this place closer to what you remember as more fun than duty. ^_^

P.S. I miss the avatar of Lulu you used to have.

On a note concerning Janie, though...

Gotta do what you gotta do Zilla. You've always been there for me as someone I could come to for advice, help, and just someone to vent to. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask.

I wish you, Mustang, and Janie the best. Good luck in college!

It is a great step that you're making and I am actually happy you have realized it.
The fact that you request for change and that your stepping back to manage things better and have time for RL things is very important and will help you a lot.
I have seen you a couple of times and everything you ever did was essential for the community. That's why I am sad that your leaving, but happy that it will help you.

I am happy that you're not leaving the community entirely, but the amount of work administrators do is impressive and you deserve much better than just the village elder status.
We do respect your work a lot.
Good luck with your job and family.
At least they will be happy to see you more now :)
Don't worry, you did the right choice.

Oh well if you are reading this Zilla, I hope you know that you are the few I look up to, the role model for us all. I always want to be like you, but I don't think I am ever that good. We are gonna miss your guidance.

Runevillage the forum is pretty well much done. Runevillage the group will eventually die, but as long as we're still friends with each other in the end, it's still a pretty big thought in our heads. Runevillage the family is forever, no matter where we settle down. If absolutely nothing else ever comes of Runevillage in the future, that alone is a pretty damn awesome thought.

But I love being cynical and saracastic! :P

Have fun doing all the things you do. You've really been a great role model, as said before, and it's a shame to see you kinda sorta go.

I have always seen you as someone I could look to in a post to have a fair, honest opinion that few others can compile.

I shall miss you, but good luck with your daughter. She's more important, anyway.

Take care,
-Kurt

I should have posted on this much sooner, but I never knew really what to say. I have never really gotten the chance to talk to you or meet you much, but I can easily see that you have done a lot for RV. I know Mustang through gaming some and may have only met you once, but you have a lot of followers and people that look up to you, so that must say something about you personally. You sond like a great gal and I'm sure it bothered you to step down some, but with having a little one to raise at home and keeping track of the hubby, I can understand that all being time consuming. It's nice to see you around RV and still doing things though :) Good luck with everything!

Well i have always respected you and how you contributed to Runevillage, i am amazed it took you this long to step down as i know that a baby can take up a lot of time and effort not to mention the full time job and college.

But remember

Janie > Work > College > Runevillage > mustang XD

Take care Zilla an pop in when you got some free time on your hands
