Hi!

Well it seems my 9th year of membership in RuneVillage has come to pass, so I figure I'd make a melodramatic post before I vanish back into the night.

Hell I have no idea how many folks here remember me, but scouring through some of the posts and seeing who's still here, I can tell you, I
still remember quite a few of you.

I don't think I've ever been a part of a more tight-knit community than RuneVillage was/is, although I'd like to hope I will find something like this again one day.
This amazing place practically raised me in its own way, helped me through some very rough times and helped shape me into the person I am today.
Whenever I came home from school, I knew there was a place where I was always welcome.
I met some great people here, some of whom I miss a lot but I suppose many have moved on to greener pastures.
I remember joining this place, all brighteyed and hopeful to make new friends and thinking that this seems like a fun place.
I remember writing and editing some guides, being a part of the RVA Psi Squad and eventually even leading it for a while (Note: Do not put a
socially distressed 14-year-old kid in a leadership role).
I remember seeing Goten's signature Brown Cavalier hat and thinking that the black one is cooler, I'll make that my signature.
I remember having a blast in chat on whatever topic was being discussed, thinking that Tweedy was the cool mod and Znath was a grouch
(no offense man, was a long time ago), leading to the occasional riot against him.
I remember the massive online monopoly fad that started in chat and just kept on rolling (THAT TOPHAT IS MINE, DAMNIT).
I remember enjoying myself in Guild Wars with Mogomongoose and Knux in The Great Shazam.
I remember desperately waddling to the store to buy a WoW payment card so I could start a character in WoW with other Runevillagers (amusingly enough, I was one of the only ones to make it to 70).
I remember the WoW raids with TomTom and G@mer, with Sarah making the occasional guest appearance now and again.

Now although I can't say every moment in RuneVillage was a memorable one, this site and these forums gave me some of the best times of my childhood.
Thank you all for being a part of this place.

I just wish I had had the chance to get to know you all just a little better.

Man, that was a whole lot of remembering... I gotta go do something else now to avoid being consumed by all this nostalgia.

Yeah, my previous long-term username was The Fire Demon *points at signature*.
As much as I recall, I used to help out with editing and making guides and with some editing on the Villager as well.
