As I'm finishing up my stay on Runescape, about ready to get my completionist cape and set myself free from it's grip, I've started getting nostalgic for all the adventures I've had in this game. Every time I look back, the beginning is the same, joining this forum. It's been so many years since I joined runevillage, over 9 in fact. This was the first forum I could call home, the first place I was around consistently enough to build a strong group of friends. It felt like I spent so long here when in reality I only spent around 2 years here. Still, it was two years continuously, longer than I've spent on any other forum.

In my mood of reflection, I'm looking back at all the critical points of my life. All the people I met here definitely led up to one of the most important times of my life. Friends from here carried me through that period and were a huge catalyst in allowing my transformation as a person to begin. It was an interesting time and I'm glad I had many friends from the village behind me

As for life, I'm just finishing up school, looking forward to graduating and getting a nice job. I have the most amazing group of friends ever and I love them so much for that. I'm about at the point where I can replace rs with some new, unknown hobby so that will be an interesting gap to fill. Who knows, I'm even tempted to spend more time around here after finding the homestuck thread. I'm at the start of a new adventure and I have no idea where it will lead me.


How has everyone else been? It's been so long, but many names are still familiar.

You know there are admins who can probably help you get back on the Blizaga name. :p

You know we'd be happy to have you here. Activity over two years, sure, but you've been around and posted here and there among the many you've been around. Quite a few of us are around that point in life, too, so a little something familiar to come back to always helps. Runevillage ain't a bad idea for one such familiar things.

Congrats on the accomplishments, and good luck getting the final ones to step past Runescape with. ^_^

I don't remember you I did most of my staking 8 years ago with a little bit 7 years ago and the tiniest of tiny bits on stakers in 2006. Was your rsn different then?


I might consider poking my head in more frequently, but at this point, it resembles a faded memory more than anything. Seeing everyone with new names makes me even less reluctant to come back because I recognize very few names.

It could have been even earlier, probably right when special attacks were introduced into the game. RSN was loudawg1234 at the time.

Waittt. So Does Summon not affect it now? I saw my combat at 200 ( the 5 minutes I logged on last week ), but am only 72? summoning

The only thing that effects it is defense and your highest combat stat of str, att, rng, mage.

So defense level(99 for you) + str lvl(or att, or mage or rng.. 99 again for you) + 2 = total level (200).

Summoning, prayer, hp will never effect it.
