Disappointed. That's the word that was rushing through my mind the entire movie. It felt as if someone took a good tv series and butchered it almost to the point of no recognition... Oh wait, someone did do just that.
However, even if I had not seen the tv series, I still wouldn't have liked this movie at all. It was a chore to watch it, honestly.

This is not an official review, however, it is a warning. Even my untrained eye/mind realizes that this movie is an utter failure. IGN movies gave it a 1.5 (or 3/10) and for good reason.

Discuss?

Who was the director again? Oh yeah...

Anyways, maybe in a few years someone will remake the movie and do it right. Honestly, Avatar (The Last Airbender) is such a promising movie franchise.

I lol'd throughout the entire production.

10/10 for the comedic value of seeing the worst film ever made.

Was it comparable to the dragonball film that I heard was atrocious also?

You know, when I first heard M. Night Shyamalan was doing the movie, I was cautiously optimistic. Maybe he'll do the movie in a very cool way, without screwing it up like his other weird movies, I thought. Then I went and saw it.

Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how I felt after watching this movie. I went to see the midnight premier (mistake) with a bunch of my friends. After watching it I was incredibly mad at the actors, the dialogue, the story, everything about the movie. I'm glad I didn't see it in 3D, apparently they screwed that up too, Clash of the Titans style.

As unfortunate as it is, I think M. Night will be doing all three books, meaning I'll be avoiding them and telling everyone I see not to go see them.

Sokka: It's a giant...Mushroom! Maybe it's friendly! Mushy giant friend.
Sokka in the desert is hilarious.
Yeah, even from the commercial I can tell they butchered every detail.

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

I almost went to see it with some friends of mine at the camp, but we couldn't find a theatre that would show it, lol. What a shame too; we were looking forward for some laughs.

But yeah, I'm not surprised that it was so bad.

Yeah I saw the movie since I watched most of Airbender on Nick when I was a kid and it was pretty bad.
