Saw it. Impressed? Yea, the action was pretty sweet, although the climatic ending was less than fantastic. In a lot of ways it reminded me of The Matrix: Reloaded ending.

To be honest, I wanted more from Stark's character. It didn't move in the first one and certainly didn't move in this one either.

Great movie and great action when it was there, but I'm less than convinced it was better than the first.

And why the early release date? I guess it's sort of summer already...

Awesome sequel!
Hidden:
I wanted a bigger battle between Ironman and Whiplash at the end, that was pretty weak imo.

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

One of the best parts was easily

The Thor reference after the credits

Loved the entire movie though, didn't honestly expect to much of a big fight because there really wasn't much of one in the first movie.

Honestly I hope they adapt something like Extremis for the next movie because that gave a lot of characterization to Stark and the nature of Iron Man as a weapon itself or something that saved lives (something they really tried with this movie). They briefly touched on the alcoholism as well, and reading devil in a bottle I liked that, but they couldn't really delve into it I guess. Civil War added a lot too.

A particular page in Extremis that demonstrates what I was talking about is here:

But needless to say, I LOVED the movie and I was squealing at the easter eggs. :D

Watched it last night; I liked it. The pacing seemed pretty good, even if the plot needed some work. Agreed on the easter eggs, though.

He may have found the element that will prevent blood poisoning, but he's still going to die of radiation sickness. What kind of scientist operates an open super collider without even goggles?

Oh, and looking forward to when Captain America pulls his shield out of aforementioned used up collider.

Saw it today, I enjoyed this one more than the first (which was also awesome).

The final battle scene could have been a lot better. Iron Man and War Machine spent about 10 minutes flying around the city exploding things, and only about 2 minutes fighting Whiplash. Could have been done better, but I did like how they defeated Whiplash. :awesome:

I saw the scene after the credits, but can someone give me a list of all the other easter eggs? I kinda grew up without comic books, so everything here is kinda new to me. Sad, I know.
