Check out my band No Parking On the Bridge on Myspace at http://www.myspace.com/noparkingonthebridgesd. We've played some shows. We're going to re-record the drums and still haven't put in the synth or vocals yet but check it out and tell me what you think.

recordings definitely need work. i don't know how i feel about the name of your band. if your genre listings are serious, you should probably learn the roots of hardcore before labeling and associating your band with hardcore.

keep it up.

Too many breakdowns. I can say from personal experience of seeing local band after local band that sound exactly like you try, try, and fail, that you need to mix things up in order to stand out.

You need variety, complexity, and that simple strumming of the guitar that is used between each breakdown won't cut it. I don't have much to say, because I've been in "the music scene", whatever you want to call it, for about 6 years now, and as rude as this comes off, you sound like every other teenage metal band that comes through the local venues, and either starts a new project that sounds exactly the same or break up completely.

As sebay said, there is nothing hardcore about your band, and if you want to be respected and not offend those that truly appreciate hardcore music I'd suggest taking that off your genre list as well. I honestly don't care, but I'm just saying based off what I've seen. The ones that listen to Gorilla Biscuit, Black Flag, etc. don't like it when teenagers label their band as the same genre of their favorite bands when there's no relation between the two.
I apologize if this comes off as harsh, by the way. I'm not meaning to be. If you're doing this band as a hobby, then I totally respect that and hope you continue having fun.
