Whats your favorite workout song? Mine is Power - Kanye West, gets me really pumped up for lifting.

Hmm, I have more a list of certain bands I cycle through... I typically keep in shape by doing a lot of running and I prefer to listen to full albums during long runs: Radiohead's Kid A and LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver are probably the most played.

I go for albums when working out. I generally like heavier stuff, I vary between bands like Accept, Anaal Nathrakh, Anthrax, Candlemass (Rarely), Megadeth, Metallica, Obituary etc.

My current workout playlist contains lots of Rise Against and Shinedown as well as some Switchfoot, Eminem, Kid Cudi, Red, Sixx AM and bands similar to it. I change it up every few weeks when I find enough new music to make the change worth while.

Yeah, I need new bands to keep it fresh. If the album is stale it's much harder to focus than if I'm not listening to anything at all.

Yeah. I generally like to listen to metal when working out, but I need variation sometimes. I generally put my mp3 player on shuffle and go from there.

When I need a boost, a faster song usually does it for me. Especially when training martial arts.
