Sup everyone.

So I'm interested in getting a hold of some DJing equipment and am wondering if any of you have any suggestions.

What I'd like to do is have some strobes, lasers, and star balls that sync into my computer so that they light properly to what is being played.

In addition to that, I'm also wondering if there are any media players that are specifically for DJs to use. I ask because none of the obvious players (iTunes, WMP, VLC, etc) have the kind of capabilities I'm looking for.

• Crossfading (WMP has this)
• Video output in a separate window than the playlist window. (VLC has this)
• HD Visualizations (no pixelation when in full screen.
• Modify playlist as it's playing so I can change up what's coming next as I need to. (almost every player does this, so it's no biggie)

None of this is really in my scope of vision, so I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

This is what you need. Has a crossfader, matches bpm and automatically syncs the two, has an effects board so you can play around with that, two decks almost like turntables but you cant really scratch with them. Has some other sound effects, video capabilities. Doesnt have visualizations, but then again you really dont want that. Very easy to learn and use, its what I use myself when djing until I can get tables and serato scratch live. Also if you get more into it I reccomend Korg products such as the kaoss pad or kaossilator. Only 100 bucks and you get a full effects processor with a touch pad, I have a ton of fun with mine
