Am I the only one that's seen this? It's alright, nothing to write home about, but it's good at what it tries to do. And that's being a mindless action film.

I swear to Christ, though, when it comes out on DVD, I'm going to buy it, edit one of the parts to have audio from Mario Kart, and put it on Youtube, because that's basically what it is. Mario Kart with machine guns. They even have little lights on the track that you drive over in order to activate your shields or weapons or whatever, a la Super Mario Kart. It's ridiculous.

Overall, I give it 3 stars out of 5. What about you?

I saw the original (Death Race 2000) from the 70s where it's about a race in the year 2000 where the drivers drive muscle cars with huge knives and you get points by running over old people.

It was hilariously terrible.

I might see this sometime though. I like Jason Statham.

Death Race 2000 was an amazing movie, I can't see this now that I hear it does not live up to its predecessor.

I thought the film was quite good, but not amazing
I just loved the part at the start when the cell mates are going to beat him up, the guard hears banging, comes back and he's standing there with all 3 around him on the floor and says "They fell"
