Right, i think we have all gathered that Transformers is a trilogy. After all - the second was made when the first one was filmed? But what do we know...or what can we gather from the first one, that will help us discern what on earth Transformers2 will be about.

I'm interested to see what the likes of you Transformers addicts have discerned..

Few things I noticed:

+ The All spark has the ability to create life - I.E - Autobots etcetc. At the end of the movie, Optimus Prime takes a piece from Megatron's chest, and holds it dear?
Im thinking this is something that needs to be taken note of? Its either, A) - He mourns over the loss of the Cube. B) - Its important for number 2.

+ If you watch to the end of the credits; Starscream has actually survived the major battle and flys, well - shoots off to space..
I know this has GOT to be important. As Optimus calls for all 'remaining Autobots'..

What have you noticed from it?

Im addicted to this film, ive got the film thrice on DVD :D

Loved the first one, I have it on DVD as well. Although I wouldn't call myself an addict, I am waiting eagerly for the second release.

Well - i bought it the first day it was out...and was like "Niiice"..

Then saw a Special Edition "Limited Edition stock" - so i was like..."Ugh" - *Forced to purchase*

Then my mother, in all her Christmas wisdom has bought my Step Father a newer, and bigger HD Tele, thus - i get the old one..I also knew that my mom has got me a PS3 - so i went into the shop and bought the HD Blue-ray disc.

Its actually AMAZING on HD...Plus LOTS of bonus features! Well worth the £30 o_O

The only thing that annoyed me about Transformers was the cheesy dialogue, the obligatory Michael Bay government conspiracy plot, and Shia LaBeouf.

If they somehow focus on the damn Transformers, I'd be happy. I'll still go see the second one.

It was a tad annoying how it was the American's that kicked the Deceptecon's backsides.

And also how there weren't Transformers in any other country :-s

Shia LaBeouf was a Legend in this film.

Yeah it was a good movie, it would be cool if they make sequels.

But, the scene where the girl looks at the cars motor made me go -_- , I mean, make it less obvious please?

He was annoying. I admit, he's got some potential to be a pretty good actor. But still, the way he said some of his lines (which were horrible to begin with) was annoying.

I know you're a fan of it and stuff, but look at the other movies of 2007. Best movie of 2007 was Bourne Ultimatum, IMO.

With the shaking camera over half the time? I prefer the Kevin Pereira version of Bourne Ultimatum.

I thought the first movie so far went step for step with a usual transformers
....
Hidden:
episode format myself. Device is found, both sides want it, bumblebee gets captured,
big battle, starscream runs away/ declares megatron dead (usually prematurely)

I expect more autobots and more decepticons obviously, the thing being which?
I'd place my bets for the autobots on like
Ultra Magnus
Arcee (was set for the first but decided against)
maybe Hound cause he was a Jeep
possibly hotrod as like a corvette or something since it IS chevy sponsored

Soundwave is somewhat confirmed for the decepticons and the only thing
I could really find was like it's some civil war between the decepticons and
the followers of starscream so naturaly, there'll be a lot more decepticons.
So expect any grab-bag of random characters there.

At the rate things are going with the subpar stuff coming out these days as
well as the cursed writers strike, this will be the next thing I see in theaters...

Nah, I even looked it up on the Internet a long time ago. The writers kinda forgot about him. The last time you see him in the whole movie was in the highway chase/battle.

You see the Camaro and the Porsche driving, and then Shia's like, "Oh no, it's that cop." (srsly) And you see Barricade start turning off somewhere - Shia's like "Block him, block him." Then he's gone, but no one notices that because Bonecrusher arrives with that giant metal claw thing and starts throwing cars off the road.
