D-Tackle 1st pick, olol. Talent must be lacking in this draft class.

This is one of the lower drafts as far as Offensive skill players are concerned, but Suh is still an amazing talent. He is the type of player you build a Defense around because he can make them all better because of the pressure he will draw to himself will allow the other guys a little more breathing room.

Plus I've heard rumors the Rams may end up with Vick since he wants to start and Philly obviously doesn't want him to.

Interesting info there about Mike Vick. I hadn't found out that Kurt Warner was retiring until today. Sad day, for sure. He's surely among the top quarterbacks of this era.

And anywho, Scar, I'm skeptical about the draft in general, no matter how good someone is in college. There are just so many busts. But yes, we *could* use a d-tackle, but I believe there are other things we need worse. (As fronk said, a secondary...a solid second receiver, an O-line...) When Dewayne White and Cliff Avril are healthy and show up to play, our D-line does well but we really don't have a stand-alone tackle.

So Fronk, what kind of interesting insight can we gain from the senior bowl? Are there any personalities there that might turn out well? There seem to be some strong running backs as well as a good linebacker in Sean Weatherspoon in there. Definitely an advantage that Lions staff has gotten this opportunity.

I heard about that as well, Scar. Also, there's talks that McNabb could be going to Minnesota if Favre retires. I wouldn't mind that at all.

Eagles fans would love it until they realized how stupid they were for not loving him. Andy Reed has said McNaab is his man, and I am inclined to take his word for it unless Minnesota really just sends one of those overwhelming offers that just makes you go "wait, what?".

I do wish Philadelphia fans would open their eyes and see how lucky they are to have McNaab. He is a great QB and doesn't deserve a lot of the hate they throw his way.

I think it was something like 84% of people polled in Philadelphia wanted Kevin Kolb back, and only 33% wanted McNaab back.

Insane lol.

I would love for St. Louis to get Vick though, even though I am a Cowboys fan I am really interested to see what a QB like Vick could do with the help of that good of a RB. Plus if they got Vick it would free up a pick they may have used later on a QB for them to get a few linemen.

Well, that was a great game. It was funny, as Indianapolis was driving down 7 in the 4th, I was thinking, "man, this has been such a clean game, no turnovers, few penalties" then bam, Peyton makes the first mistake and it costs them the game. Congrats to the Saints.

I don't even get it... He started to really force the issue down the stretch. That Porter pick and that one in the end zone, only by the grace of poor field presence did that one come back...

Nice to see Brees win the Super Bowl though... Short quarterbacks represent.

Damn. Sigh, Saints were hoping for this after Katrina. They win. I can't believe it.

This.

But I didnt care for either team, so I was going for the Saints because it's their first time going to the SuperBowl. And Im not a huge Manning fan.

I love Brees and Bush. Brees because he was QB I wanted in SD and Bush because I watched him in high school.

Definately the Lions.

AND I HAVE a theory that supports it...

Two years ago the Cardinals made their first Superbowl, Then this year the Saints. That leaves 3 teams, Lions, Texans, and Jags. Yes the Texans and the Jags have a decent shot to make it, because they are better teams. But i want to close my eyes and go to my own happy place and not think of that too much :-P
