Don't tell me to get out. I know my Fuzzy Bunny when it comes to metal. Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppet's were classics, and the Black Album was alright. Kill em All was far too raw for my liking (I had the same problem with Megadeth's Killing is My Business... and Business is good) and Justice for All sucked.

You don't "know" anything. You have your opinions on music. Obviously your opinion isn't too welcome here, and I would suggest not to post in here. I'm not trying to be a smartass, or anything, but if you don't want to start a flame war because you have a different opinion, then you know, don't start one.

The rest is opinion, but is fairly accurate in what the real metal community thinks. Some may say that Kill Em All is good, some may say that And Justice For All is good, that's fine, I don't agree.

If he didn't want a contrary opinion in here, he should have made a website about it instead of posting about it on a forum. God help us when people think that only one view point should be allowed in a topic.

If people don't want a flame war, why am I being baited by being told to get out when I offer a contrary opinion to the topic at hand? Can you answer that?

They're in London at the weekend, but you need to join their fanclub to buy tickets, I think it's probably too late now :(

Yeah telling me to get out isn't going to annoy me. Three good albums from a band is not one worthy of lavish attention, when they have an equal amount that are pathetic.

What do you mean by the real metal community? As far as I know, most people regard Metallica as one of, if not the biggest, pioneers of metal. It seems like every metal band out today says they were influenced by Metallica, among many others. So what's the metal community, the population who started listening to metal after "Metallica went bad?"

Listened to their early albums more likely. You will have to search long and hard for anyone that thinks that Load, Re-Load and St Anger are "Pioneering albums".

Reload was fantastic. It was soft but I don't see how that makes it bad.

That's what it's been! A discussion. It never came close to a debate. The only thing that's a "debate" is how you oh mighty overlord decide how "negative" something can be. If it's too negative, you say they're starting an argument, but if it's not then it's all fine.

It doesn't make ANYONE angry when you start telling them what is and what isn't accepted when it comes to opinion, which ruins to whole point.

You could be the better man by not telling a guy who said "This band isn't that good/coupla' albums were good" that he shouldn't come in "stating his opinion in a 'mean' way".

As far as I'm concerned Magic just wrote his opinion on Metallica, then you finish off telling him that because of the way he typed it, he has to get out because he risks starting WWIII.

I have to say that this topic has been a big lolfest.

In my opinion Metallica is not that great. Good luck with this 'Fan Club' you're going to need it.

Metallica has a lot of E minor. Learn that scale on guitar and you can pretty much play any Metallica song by ear.

Oh except for Hero of the Day, that's E major.
