With the lineup and tickets only $100 each, I'm going to try to go :D

Anyone been to past ones?

To be honest, I would not go to that. Line up doesn't seem impressive. If it's your thing and you'd enjoy it, then have fun and go to it, after all a $100 dollar festival is nice .

I went to the second RotR, right as my interest in that style of music was fading. It was a blast, although I missed most of the stuff before 5pm both days -- High School Ultimate Frisbee tournament was the same weekend. That was the year that Stone Temple Pilots were headliners, and that show was their first live one in years. It was an amazing experience for that alone.

I don't plan on going to this one... Either the bands they're bringing in are worse, or I've just grown away from that music. It is nice to see a music festival in Columbus, though. I hope they can use Crew Stadium and it's massive stage for more summer festivals in the future.

Haha, Id say the world has grown away from those bands. Just about all of those big bands on the list are past their peak of popularity, most of them well past. I really wasnt aware anyone still cared about Limp Bizkit, Im a little disappointed they do.

Honestly, the entire line up looks pretty awesome, I just dont have any interest in going to any festivals/concerts after my last one in Scranton. Nothing will ever live up to that weekend. I hope you have fun though Hennub.

OMG WTH

That lineup is pretty impressive, to be honest. I've already seen a few of those bands live, but they're worth seeing again. Except theory of a deadman. That would mark the 3rd time I've seen them. Enough is enough. Though they always seem to be touring with the bands I do want to see. :-|

I'd definitely go for Coheed, Deftones, and Mastodon if this were anywhere near me.

I'd go for Rob Zombie, Slash, and Mastodon, but for the most part I agree with Applequest about this. It seems like a festival done ten years late. :P

You're a noob.

Would I be laughed at if I said I was going to Nickelback May 25th?

If Shinedown is doing the same songs I saw them do in Ft. Wayne Indiana about a month ago with Puddle of Mudd and Skillet then that part will definitely be awesome. I personally would go just for Rise Against, but toss Shinedown, BB, Sick Puppies, Seether, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Skillet, Puddle of Mudd, Apocalyptica, Halestorm, etc. etc. are just icing on the cake.

My only problem is finding someone around here who wants/can afford to go with me...
