The one you are quoting is the first week's. Blackmage has placed up the second week just lately. Which one are you speaking of? Event 1 or 2?

FIND THE TREASURE:

No one has won yet, lol. 1,300,000 GP prize too :P

Not to sound callous, but I find it hard to believe that everyone gets up at 5AM.

This is RS fansite. Which means there are bunch of kids around here who goes to school. Which means their school won't start until 8AM. And you most likely need to wake up 2 hours earlier at most.

So the word "most people" followed with word "work" won't really apply here.

Unfortunately, there will never be a time in which everyone will be able to attend an event. It's unfortunate but it happens. We have had tons of other events such as find the treasure, treasure trail raffle, and mysterious objects for people of all timezones to participate in, regardless of what time it is. If they miss out on that, then it's their own problem.

The drop party is 11PM on a Friday night... Why do you people work on Saturdays? Or maybe it works differently in Europe...

Has it been sent out already? Because we're what, 2 days away from the event?

We're just doing final preparations for the drop party :) Luckily we didn't do anything before yesterday because the Grand Exchange location was the F2P Drop location :P Now we're just getting settled in to finding a new one :)

Exactly. I was event co-ordinator back in the days when I was a clan person, so my job was to host events, and it's really difficult to set up an event for everyone when you have people from 3 different timezone areas, (american timezone, europian timezone and asian/australian timezones.) it is just impossible. Someone will always rant about the times..
