I picked this show up pretty randomly. I was looking for something to watch before Thanksgiving break (which I plan to spend watching Spice and Wolf), and decided on Kami-sama no Memo-chō because of an avatar I saw on another forum.

Silly, I know, but that's actually how I decide on most of the shows I watch. I went into this anime knowing nothing about it, and it turned out to be pretty damn good! It's not Top 5 material, but it's definitely a neat and entertaining show.

If you're into detective/mystery, slice of life, comedy, ramen, and crime, then you'll like Kami-sama no Memo-chō. I've also read that it's for people who like Gosick and Eden of the East, but I cannot confirm because I have yet to watch either of those shows.

Kamisama is a good show. I enjoyed it nearer the beginning than the end, however, I was pretty miffed when someone jumped off the top of a building, as i really like that character. But it did get me watching it again as soon as it was aired.

They leave a lot of it open, and although 13 show series are short and often do leave some bits, I feel like it didn't end in some respects it's based on a Light novel which is still going, and hopefully we'll see a season 2 of this some time in the future.

Moose out
